Our 2nd and absolutely last time. 1st time we at least had an excellent server, but the bartender couldn't make a decent Whiskey Sour, the food took forever and wasn't worth the wait. We thought we would give them another try. They were pretty busy the first time and maybe we just hit on a bad night. We were so wrong. Worse than the first time. The only thing worse than the food was the service. Wish I knew her name. She saw us come in and sit in her area. She ignored us for at least 10 minutes while she chatted with the bartender, then with another waitress. She didn't even come and take our drink order untill people took the booth behind us. She took our drink orders and the couple's behind us. After she chatted with them for several minutes, she went for our drinks. When she brought them back, she took our order, then the couple's behind us. She obviously knew them considering the conversation we couldn't avoid hearing about the owners daughter who got all the best shifts. Smart move on their part. She had to be better. After a lengthy conversation with them, she finally placed our order. By this time several tables, none hers, that had come in well after us, had their food. I had the petit sirloin. Tough as shoe leather and tasteless. My husband had chicken breast that was as dry and rubbery as my steak. The disclaimer on your menu that you don't take responsibility for dry steaks that are requested cooked well done should have told me you don't know how to cook a steak. I have had many, many well done steaks that were moist and flavorable. We also had baked potatoes that were so cold, the stuff they call butter wouldn't even melt. After, once again, tracking down and signaling our waitress, we told her the potatoes were cold and the butter wouldn't even melt. She informed us it wasn't real butter. That's why it didn't melt. Lots of people complain about it. I told her again, the potato wasn't hot. She then offered to heat them up instead of fresh, hot potatos. She then went into the kitchen, got a small plate, came back and asked me to put it on the plate, which she took back to the kitchen and microwaved. She never bothered to ask my husband so he told her, his was cold to. Once again, small plate, microwave. The entire meal was cold garbage and they should have been ashamed to serve it. Though it was obvious we were very unhappy with the food by the amount of food left, the waitress didn't bother to ask. I wasn't surprised. The fact we had to seek her out instead of her actually doing her job, is not acceptable. She seemed to think she was there to socialize and resented being interrupted by certain customers. The ones she knew, she helped immediately....

Have driven past this restaurant for 20 plus years and finally had the time to give it a go, should have stopped in years ago to say the least. When we walked in don't get me wrong first response was wow this place is dated and tired on sheer appearance alone. First the menu is huge in selection, if you can't find something to eat on it your not hungry. From salad to seafood they do have a meal for you. I'm not a big fan of fried/ breaded seaside fare but still ordered shrimp to complement my New York strip steak meal baked potato and side salad. All 3 steaks that were ordered and brought to the table were cooked proper and presentation was great. Salad was mainly lettuce and cheese which I wasn't a fan of(would like a little variety in a salad myself). The outside patio looked like a great place to enjoy a meal and drinks in the warmer weather rainy and cold so didn't get to experience that last night. Wait staff was super friendly and made sure we were happy and needs taken care of throughout the dining adventure might be a little loud at times but what place doesn't have this from time to time. I do have to admit we have a family member that works in the kitchen area but she didn't even realize we were there till after the meal. Thanks Barb for visiting the table and making sure we were treated great. Only thing i would mention to the owner is that the lighting on the entrance was a bit hard to see in the rain. Overall we enjoyed it and will be back, if you have the time and want a great meal...

I really hate giving this place three stars and I will be more than happy to change my rating the next time I go back.

As far as the food goes I was extremely disappointed. I'm a huge fan of a fried fish sandwich so when I go into a restaurant I have never been in and they have a fried fish sandwich on the menu that is the way I tend to go. Unfortunately I ordered the fried fish sandwich. There was absolutely nothing special about this sandwich and if I had to guess the Patty was frozen and came from a food supplier that way. The real kicker was the tartar sauce. It was not homemade tartar sauce it was tartar sauce in packets.

My wife had ordered breaded shrimp and I'm pretty sure it came from a food supplier the exact same way my fish patty did.

My disappointment on restaurants like this are many of them have huge menus and can do a few things great and everything else mediocre. Narrow your menu down to what you do better than anybody else and that's what you should focus on.

I do plan on going back and trying more of the items on the menu just to see if the entire restaurant is mediocre. I will give big kudos to the staff. Our waitress was one of the nicest people I have ever met in Zanesville. She said she was new and I do not know her name but she was more than helpful when it come to ordering our food.

Once again I am sorry for the three-star rating and will be more than happy to change that the next...

Free standing building, parking on property in front of building. Handicap parking available as well as wheelchair accessible entrance. Long standing, popular, Family owned and operated establishment offering a wonderful menu consisting of yummy appetizers and entrees, salads to wings to burgers to steaks and more! Wash your palate down with spirits from their full service bar (delicious taps offered as well such as Guinness) which you can seat yourself and dine there if a booth or table is not what you prefer. Single to large groups available. Good family feel, nice, friendly and clean establishment. Servers and staff welcoming, knowledgeable and delightful. Kudos to the chef, Kenny! He knows exactly how I like my Delmonico prepared! My small group of 3 ordered the Delmonico steaks with different sides choices, which with this dinner, you may pick 2 sides (or more for additional charge). The cost for a Delmonico steak dinner is more than reasonable and will leave your wallet room for spirits and dessert! We were happy with our dinners and our palates were pleased. A must go to place to dine in or carry out, enjoy spirits as well. I highly recommend this establishment to everyone. Bon appetit and Godspeed everyone!

Not great. The service was ok, but as the meal went on, it felt like we were left alone and other parties were taken care of more. The food was bland. The prime rib is more of a roast style than a true prime rib; the steak and the green beans were lacking any spices - salt and pepper needed. The mashed potatoes and gravy were good. We also ordered the club sandwich with fries and coleslaw. My fries were undercooked, the coleslaw is made with Miracle Whip (not something I like), and the bacon on the club was overly crispy. Probably won’t return. We had high hopes with all the good reviews. Did not meet expectations.
