Our Place — Restaurant in Ohio

I am in the area now and again for meetings, and have eyeballed this place as somewhere I need to try. It has all the indicators I look for when trying to figure out somewhere new to me to grab a bite (indicators of being a "hole in the wall" and not a chain restaurant are both huge pluses in my book) Was in the area for a meeting and decided to go with a few people for lunch. We didnt realize before getting there that it is was basically car-hop service, but didnt mind or bother us in the least as we took our lunches back to to meeting site. Both women who dealt with our car/orders were friendly, answering the numerous questions about the menu that we had. 1 person ordered the taco salad and loved it...her only "complaint" being that it was huge 1 person ordered garlic parmesan wings. Said she liked them but said they could have been a little more garlicy I ordered Carolina Gold wings and a side of tater wedges. Wings were good both in size and in flavor. For those who arent familiar with "Carolina", avoid it if you are adverse to mustard or vinegar. I enjoy both and they were good (perhaps adding a bit of crushed red pepper flakes would have added to it, but I can sprinkle that on my own). The Wedges, I ate but they were not my favorite. Not "potato-y" enough for my liking (too soft and fluffy inside), but maybe I am just a wedge snob :) We were all 3 also given a "sample" of the carrot cake. FANTASTIC!!! The couple little bite sample was actually enough to hit the spot. Likely going again tomorrow with my head debating between several items on the menu. Plenty of good sounding options. Maybe I'll stop at lunch......then grab something different to take...

SERVICE AND FOOD IS GREAT. My father took me there as a kid over 50 years ago. I was in the area and went by to at least see it and someone was there taking out the garbage and I stopped to ask questions and after talking to her we lived a few blocks away from each other over 50 years ago as kids. Our place was closed on Saturday BUT AFTER TALKING TO DEB SHE WENT IN AND FIXED US A FEW SPANISH DOGS AND DESERT'S. INCREDIBLE I CAN'T SAY ENOUGH FOR DEB AND OUR PLACE. This was about end of June We revisited yesterday July 27 and it was GREAT again, we will be back. It's over 100 miles from home...

Took a last day of summer day trip from Cincinnati with my youngest and after playing at Boonshoft museum we found this gem for lunch! I always like finding places that we have not been to for added adventure, Our Place was awesome! We had chicken tenders with mashed potatoes & a chicken meal with Cole slaw, they both were delicious! So good in fact that I ordered a 10piece to take home for dinner!
