It's great that this restaurant is about 5 mins away from my house. Although they can tend to be a bit pricey with some items on the menu, we discovered that Monday is the best day to go. It's less crowded, with an all day happy hour that features half off select appetizers and $1.00 off a wide selection of drinks, you can't go wrong.
My hubby and I got there around 6:00, just before the dinner rush. Our server Heidi was nice and courteous, but all over the place. We could tell that the couple seated behind us were getting disgruntled because she forgot to take their order. Luckily another server came to their rescue.
We started out with the spinach and artichoke dip, part of the happy hour special. It was served with some fresh, salty tortillas that were a bit greasy but good. (Would not pay the regular $8.99 for them).
The main event was the lasagna with meatballs and the homemade portobella mushroom ravioli. Both were served with a side salad and rolls. The lasagna was authentic and the meatballs were good sized, but mediocre in flavor. The ravioli was nicely done, too, but way too much Alfredo sauce. It was about 1/3 of the plate of sauce. I personally would have appreciated more ravioli and less sauce for the $16 price point.
Overall, the portions are big. They have a good selection of beer, wine and drinks. And they absolutely have the best cheesecakes and chocolate dipped cannoli in town. We'll go back, but probably just stick to the pizza, beer, appetizers...

We we're seated with four of us & there was only one more table of 2 in dining area within the whole time I was there till I left at 4:35. The waitress was never around we had to have somebody go get her two or three different times she was in the back somewhere?! My brother asked for blue cheese two times when he got his appetizer took till the third time to get a side of blue cheese. New people joined our table sometimes we had to go find somebody to get our waitresses so she could bring them a drink! We sat there with empty glasses waiting for her to come by to get us a drink, no where to be seen! Not like it was busy not like she had a lot of customers !! 2 tables that was it! I was going to order food but I left because I didn't have time to sit there for another hour or more to wait for service & my food I had to get up early for work the next morning, I was very disappointed! You would think that the waitress would be wanting to be attentive to make a nice tip off of 7/8 top table when there's only two tables in the dining room!!! But...
Read moreAs much as I hate to do this, I think I’m done with Red Creek. It has nothing to do with the service, prices, etc but simply the quality of food. Specifically the ribs.
For a few years, I’ve told countless people that Red Creek has the best ribs around. I’ve even told the head chef and co-owner how much I enjoy the ribs. Simply the best.
However, the last 5-6 trips have been sub-par, to say the least. The meat is rampant with fat. To the point that the majority of it is inedible.
I can’t help but think that ownership has consciously made the decision to serve a lower quality meat and/or cheaper provider. On one hand I understand. They make these decisions so they aren’t forced to increase prices for the sake of reducing loss or maintain margins. On the other hand, this product is now equal with Applebees.
I realize, to the reader, this is simply just another review. Believe me, it takes A LOT for me to leave a review like this. My hopes are that ownership stumbles upon this and understands a review like this represents the silent majority...
