Lavender Jones Macarons — Restaurant in Painesville

Recently stopped in because my mom comes in all the time and the things she gets always looks AMAZING! The price point for the FRESH, GLUTEN FREE baked goods and meals is totally worth it. In fact I spent about $50 (which is absolutely not bad at all if you live on a GF diet) on the following items and was BLOWN AWAY! I got:

The Super Club Sandwich, which gets a 12/10 from me. The thing is not only massive, but scrumptious. It’s one of those “hand shaking good” kinda sandwiches, that you don’t ever wanna put down. It could probably be my last meal and I would enter the afterlife a happy woman. I got it without tomatoes though!

The Cajun Chicken Sandwich gets a 9/10. It was soooo good, and super fresh. The slaw is PEAK. Like crack, I swear! Also got this one without tomatoes (I don’t like tomatoes, lol).

Both sandwiches came with a pickle, and I’m sorry to say it was not for me. I’m a pickle lover, like I’ll drink the juice, lol. But these pickles..I did not enjoy. ..0/10 (I’m so sorry).

The Cinnamon roll is a 10/10, and hardly survived the car ride home! Sticky, sweet goodness to die for! I tried to resist the temptation, but alas.

The Coffee Cake is a strong 9/10, soooo soft and bouncy (if that makes sense). The crumb is just perfect, and this thing is also massive!

The Blueberry Muffin is an 8/10 for me, it was so fresh and bright, it’s also on the denser side, but I’m not complaining. The crumble on top is sweet and crunchy, super good!

Lastly, I got the Maple Pecan Muffin. It’s an 8.5/10 for me. It’s not as dense as the blueberry, but the flavor just screams Autumn! These muffins are huge, too! The crumble on top is sweet and crunchy, just delicious!

Overall this place is a 5 start joint. Everything is gluten free? Hellooo! It’s so hard to find GOOD GF fresh baked goods, and even meals. Lavender Jones exceeded my expectations and I absolutely WILL be returning. I’ve got my eyes on everything, and I’m gonna need a bigger stomach! Especially because the portion sizes are huge! Love the food - every thing, I repeat every single thing- is gluten free. No risk at all for celiacs and I’ve never gotten sick from this place like I have so many other restaurants. My family is not gluten free strictly, but they don’t notice the difference in taste and they feel better without all the inflammation. I love the banana muffins and the hand pies, My family loves the cupcakes. Recently they introduced pizza which I’m stoked to try but I’ve heard it’s amazing. Whether sweet or savory, there’s a huge variety and something for everyone. And the macarons are the best I’ve ever had. I spent $92.00 for 4 dozen macarons that ended up being the wrong color. This was important to me because they were bridal shower favors in clear boxes and I wanted to match the bride’s colors. When I initially called to ask about my options they told me they could make any flavor any color so I made a trip in to personally discuss it and make sure it was right.
