I wish there way to submit a review without any stars because THAT'S HOW HORRIBLE SERVICE WAS. I literally have no idea where to begin as the entire night was a not so great experience... but I'll start from the beginning. Walking into the establishment I fell. We had a party of 20 & once I sat down, discovered 2 others fell. Waitress laughed and didn't ask if I/we were okay... just said she didn't understand why we fell because her shoes stick to the floor & laughed it off. That may have been a sign to leave but... since I was there for a dinner party to celebrate the birth of my dear cousin as well as her recent multiple accomplishments; I decided to remain calm and stay. Okay... waitress (Sara was her name) immediately asked for drink orders. Received drinks about 10 mins later. She then came with bread and about 30 mins later asked for food orders. A few of the guests ordered appetizers (in which we had to ask for an appetizer menu). Instead of bringing the appetizers out per usual, she'd decided to take it upon herself and assume we wanted them as our full course meals. Told her we didn't & she brought out salads. Still waiting for our apps it's about about an hr in. Addressed it with Sara and she says there are still people eating salad, when they are finished is when the dinner orders will be placed & appetizers brought out. Sara decides to bring our checks out BEFORE THE FOOD WAS RECEIVED. A tactic I have never seen or heard of... All tables around us have began to eat & after saying something to her about not receiving our orders she began to explain that there are other big parties as if we were less of importance. Growing angry the snooty waitress began to finally bring our appetizers. Orders placed & we're now waiting ANOTHER HOUR! The dinner options were slim to none as a pre-made menu was presented to us at the beginning of dinner... so I feel as if there's no reason why the food was THAT late. Still waiting it's now 9:30 P.M. NO FOOD! THE DINNER PARTY IS NOW VERY MUCH SO READY TO GO, WAITRESS SARA IS BEING SHORT AND RUDE TO THE POINT OF NOT TALKING TO US, ASKING FOR REFILLS, OR ANYTHING! THE MANAGER WAS NOT IN AT THE TIME. Food finally comes out.... different waiters are bringing food to us.. Children crying... food orders wrong & food was not up to par. Multiple people in the dinner party are now requesting to speak with a manager & shortly after he was called in. That resolved nothing as he was also ready to dismiss us without taking care of any of the issues or hearing us out. We were very excited as this was supposed to be a birthday celebration but turned to hell. Manager ended the night by telling us not to come back to his establishment and to leave before he called the police.

If you are thinking of having a large dinner party here I would reconsider! The long "normal" wait times are unacceptable and so are the rude waitress (Sara)/manager. I will NEVER be back to the restaurant. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. (S/N) I felt a bit of racism which really broke my heart. It's 2018 & the tone was set once they seen the color of our skin PERIOD not knowing the pureness/kindness our our heart and wealthiness of our pockets they simply...

Boy this place was all over the place. The atmosphere was really nice. We got there really early so we found a seat at the bar and I had a marvelous Old Fashion. The muddling was perfect and served on a large cube of ice. It was a great drink. I had another at the table it was not muddled at all, just a bourbon and water over ice with a few cherries and an orange slice. Not a big deal, though. We ordered I got a ribeye and my wife got the Halibut and shrimp scampi. I also ordered a shrimp cocktail. We also got salads.

The appetizer came almost immediately. The shrimp was perfect, very fresh, very large and the cocktail sauce was fantastic. It was peppery and had a hard horseradish bit. I pulled the last shrimp from the plate and not 5 seconds later one of the staff took the plate before I could get a scoop of that delicious cocktail sauce and lemon. Again no biggie, I enjoyed the shrimp very much. But now the problems really started mounting. We then waited almost a half an hour for our salads. I was getting ready to ask our server if she had forgotten them. But that's when she brought them. I had enough time to have 4 bites of my salad, which was delicious by the way, when they brought our entrees. This is one my biggest pet peeves it drives me nuts at a chain, but when I am dropping three bills on dinner... I mean common on.

Then came my steak I put my salad aside because I wanted to eat my steak hot. I ordered it rare, and it was perfectly cooked, nice char on the outside and red inside, just perfect. The mushroom topper was so salty I couldn't even eat them, I ended up scraping them off my steak. I don't know if the sauce from the mushrooms had infiltrated the steak or if it had been over salted as well, but it was ruined by all the salt. A fine piece of meat like that stands on its own - a little salt and pepper some butter & rosemary maybe a hint of garlic, but over powering it with salt is the quickest way to ruin a steak. The French Fries were just ordinary, said salt and pepper fries on menu, but they were lightly breaded and could have been store bought for all I could tell. While my wife's dinner was excellent, the Brussel sprouts were mushy and bland, but the main dish was superb.

Then we got dessert... peanut butter pie, and it was over the top good. Easily the best I have ever had. So I don't know what to say about this place, some of the experience, and that's what I expected, an experience, was crazy good and some of it was just plain bad. When your entree is not good, it doesn't help their cause, especially when you order a steak at...

First time visiting. Used restroom before entering to dine. Complete disaster. Stall out of order. No soap. Was only 7pm. First thought was, hope everything else isn’t like this. Peppers and oil had huge chunks of garlic and onions. Very sharp taste.who has to ask for butter when bread is served? Waitress was nice, clearly not connected though. My Fillet had a little flavor, but was very rubbery. Could barely cut through it. For all the hype of this restaurant, it was very Run of the mill , over priced , typical county club golf course B.S. My partner had salmon that was cold and tasted frozen, definitely not fresh. Price wise was twice more than any surrounding restaurants that could double down on quality. In all, I definitely would never recommend for any occasion. Not sure who to blame ,if it would be the ones running it or the chef. Maybe both. Maybe the chef needs to be replaced or needs fresh eyes. In today’s day and time I understand everything is in “ shortage “ and pricing increases .But with that fact , your quality should not decrease if a person is willing to pay the prices of the Times. Are you also on a butter shortage? Please ,that should not be an oversight with Bread , nor should soap to wash your hands. Also one last thing my lettuce was brown and I had to pick half of it out in order just to eat it. This is not the waitresses fault I did tip her well but everything happens from the front of the house to the back of the house and you were clearly lacking communication. If you have the nerve to charge people the prices that you do and people are willing to pay it then you really must cater to your public, in order to not have somebody come home and write a review like this and be embarrassed for taking somebody out for their birthday. I will not ever think about this restaurant again or return. Your guests should be priority and management or head of house should be going around the tables asking about how everything is or if they need anything. At that point before my dinner was served I would’ve begged you for butter with my peppers and oil, it is just such a minute thing but it’s a huge thing . Thank you...

I highly recommend the Chop House. Even though meat is implied in the name, they have a full vegan menu if you ask for it! I ordered the cauliflower flat bread and it was excellent. Super crispy crust, nice flavor combinations with the banana peppers and sweet sun dried tomatoes. I also tried to order the zucchini boat ratatouille but they were out of it. The staff felt so bad to be out that they comped me a dessert. I tried the peanut butter pie and it was sooo decadent and good. At the end of the meal, our waitress (shout-out to Amber for being so attentive and nice!) told us to hang on a few minutes and she came out with the zucchini boats to go! As you can see from the photos, the portions are huge, so we also had plenty of other leftovers to take home. My dinner mate, liked the ribs a lot. I tried the greens, which were full of garlicky excellence. So to recap: excellent service, excellent food! I was particularly impressed with the fact that they were managing such good service when they had a wedding party and two birthday parties going on simultaneously. When we entered for an early dinner there were very few other occupied tables, by the end of our meal, the restaurant was completely full. Throughout all of this, I could still hear my dinner mate! For anyone who follows my reviews, you know it is a rare compliment that I like the acoustic environment of a restaurant -- check out the acoustic panelling on the ceiling in here (see photos)! And some fabrics on the walls! And well-placed speakers that are not playing music too loudly! My compliments all around :) This restaurant is doing it right. Few other restaurants in the area are at the same level of service and quality. So, if you find yourself nearby, definitely add the Chop House to your list.

Well we go to a different restaurant every two weeks with another couple. So we tried this for the first time tonight! We sat on the patio overlooking the beautiful grounds. The patio is climate controlled which is nice. However, as we came early and had reservations we sat in the bar beforehand. Lovey had an appletini and I had a bottle of beer. I thought the bartenders we're good and very friendly. The clientele was also friendly and upscale. We thoroughly enjoyed our conversation with the people sitting around us. Lovey stated, her appletini was very good and generous on the good stuff. At our table our waiter was Mark let me tell you this guy was super attentive and highly knowledgeable about the restaurant and the entire surrounding complex.Lovey had the chicken kabobs dinner with an excellent salad. I have the Delmonico steak with asparagus and a tossed salad. Let me tell you it was incredible. The couple with us both had the Delmonico steak. With smashed potatoes, greens and tossed salads. They loved their dinners also. In conclusion I'll definitely be back on our normal rotation. Now for what we got the cost of the dinner was very reasonable approximately $200 with a $45 tip to Mark from lovey and myself. I know that the couple with us gave him a little extra too. But with service like that it was well worth it. I've included pictures with this review.
