As a CUSTOMER Great mix crowd, relaxed fun atmosphere. You can come here to relax, watch some sports, eat some food. They have karaoke a couple nights a week. They have security, but have yet to see them put to use. They have over 6 TVs for your viewing pleasure, a video juke box and even video slot machines if you feel an itch to gamble. This sentence is more of an edit addition than anything but I feel it deserves to be at the foremost I remembered a tidbit of conversation between bartenders if a tab goes forgotten unpaid or for whatever reason there's missing money they spread it across the tabs quote on quote it's what they were told to do make sure you're watching exactly what you pay for. One of the bartenders actually went as far to say as half the people there don't even know the prices for what they're ordering. This is not hate for a recent departure from working there it's more along the lines of if you don't treat your employees right then tongues kind of lit loose on information that the ears gather. As for employee treatment, it's not so good. Some people don't even make $10 an hour. You also might not get paid for the time you work. My pay and a fellow security officer got shorted, his by as much as 20 bucks, sorry 15 if you include his 5 dollar sandwich. I would stay 20 minutes after pay ended but show up 15 minutes late because I didn't get paid for those 20 minutes and got my pay docked 15 minutes. Also we got a $5.35 cent sandwich and out employee discount was 35 cents. The women bar tenders are told to make them selves seem available, basically so they can be hit on by customers for better sales, seems a bit messed up during the day and age of gender equality and women's rights movements. There's an elderly lady working the kitchen for less than 10 bucks an hour... Seems sad when McDonald's pays it's employees more and gives their workers better discounts to eat. You appricate your employees, they appricate you. There is not one single employee here that don't have a trash bag of complaints, weather that be the owner screaming at them daily, unfair wages, unfair treatment, etc. There's things I could add to this but would get some of them targeted unfairly. My hope for changes would be fair wages, not making women workers make them selves seem available, deep clean the place, and more respect for their workers. It's a shame because it seems like such a nice place. The customers really make the place, it's definitely not the bar that makes the environment that's for sure. Always a few bad seeds, but all and all generally...
Read moreMe and my family had such a terrible experience at the rig on Monday night (wing night) I feel obligated to post and share this with future customers. We went there at around 7 pm and it was not busy at this time. We sat at the table waiting for someone to take our order, which never happened. I went up to the bar and asked if we could get some service and she stated we had to order at the bar. This person was not friendly at all. After placing the order for the whole table she stated she needed my card because she was leaving? We were going to split up dinner so I told her do not charge my card. She stated she will not and it will not be charged until after the meal. She stated it will be about a 40 minute wait which was fine. We ended up waiting an hour and a half. Just sitting there and no service at all. Finally after waiting an hour and a half the wings were completely uneatable and burnt to a crisp. These were the worst wings ever from the rig. I went to the owner of the establishment and I explained what happened and the wings were uneatable and how long we waited. He said he would take care of the entire bill and I would not be charged. I told him i would pay for the fries and burger we got because those items were fine and he refused and said don't worry and I will not be charged. I thanked him. We barely ate anything and we were all very disappointed. The next day I woke up and I found that he lied right to my face and my card was charged without my authority. I called that morning and the person was the phone stated she could not do anything and she would give the owner my number and he would contact me for a refund. I have not received a call back and will be disputing this charge. I will not go back to the rig until they figure out their situation. Please be aware of this place. update
The rig refunded my meal which was great!
I told my parents that this was the best spot for wings, man did I look like an idiot!
We went for dinner and hungry so therefore we tried our best to salvage to eat as much as we could since we spent 50$ for terrible food! A good owner would accept responsibility that they have failed and not say the customer lied about eating some of the food that was absolutely terrible. Also note that my 2 year old daughter was hungry and my parents tried to eat more because they felt bad that the food was so bad. This never crossed your mind most likely because you are running a terrible business with terrible customer service from...
Read moreI really liked this place. I came in here one morning right as it was opening for the day at around 11am.
I ordered a couple of brews and some chicken wings. It was very good. There was a variety of sauce flavors to choose from to put on your wings. So I ordered the rig rub on half of them and on the other half I got the cajon ranch. Both of those flavors were excellent. The cajon ranch was rich and very flavorful. The wings themselves were pretty good quality to begin with. The flavors just added to the delight.
The atmosphere was pretty cool at this bar too. The bar is actually in the middle of the place. So you are sitting around the bar, so to speak. While the vibes weren't that live when I was in here, it was only 11am. So I'd guess that it gets a little more turnt up in the evening on weekends.
There is a pool table and a nice little patio as well
The service was really good as well. Madeline was a terrific waitress.
Overall, I would stop back in to this place if ever back...
