The River Edge Sports Bar & Grille — Restaurant in Ohio

Decided to go to The Rivers Edge bar last night and was completely and utterly blown away..... the bar staff were completely and utterly some of the best and most friendly people I have met in a while. I walked in and it felt like I had been coming there for 20+ years, and they were genuinely glad to see me. Now that’s saying something after I was having a long and trying day. And they made me feel like it was gonna be alright and they gave me someone to talk to. The alcohol prices are great. I had both beer and liquor and both were very reasonable. They also have White Claw which I have never seen in a bar before and I loved the variety. I got to meet the owner and he is just a great and down to home person. I didn’t even know him and he greeted me with smiling face and a great handshake. And at the end of the night shook my hand again told me it was great to meet me and that he would love to see me there again. I mean it’s the moments like that I think now a-days we can’t find in bars often and I am just happy I found a bar that this actually happens. I ended up ordering the burger and fries with mozzarella sticks and loved every bit. Everything was sooooo fresh. This bar was just amazing and really a great place to hang out and just have a great evening. 10/10 would recommend for a nice night out with low stress and...

Hubby and I have been going here for years to have a couple of beers and shoot some pool. It's usually a good experience, but tonight (06/14/2020), we ended up leaving early and quickly. The pot-smoking in the outdoor area with the door open to the interior was bad enough, but walking in on a b.j. in the women's restroom was an evening ender. The bartender seemed to be a nice person, but she was outside while people were smoking pot, and appeared to be either the mother or a close friend of the young woman in the restroom. If this is the kind of place this is going to be, we won't be back. (P.S. You need some new pool cues.)

If you’re looking for a laid back, comfortable, good time experience, river edge is the place to go. Charlie & Karen are wonderful and very personal. They appreciate everyones service and definitely take care of you when you're here. Never any problems when my boyfriend and i have gone. The food is wonderful and the drinks are even better. They have corn hole, bad miton, volleyball and bonfire’s as well. The place is always clean and corona free. They have very high expectations on the way their bar is suppose to be ran and they achieve every one. Its a nice place to get away for the evening and the people they bring in are wonderful and you wont leave without a good conversation. Definitely would choose to come here than any other bar.
