Our first visit to this extremely scenic winery and restaurant. This review is only for the restaurant and wine tasting, not the lodging (we did not stay there).

Pros: Amazing scenery! It overlooks the Columbia River and hills. They have outside seating when the weather cooperates. Lovely.

The wines were solid (4-4.5 stars). They told us that the winery has only been around for six years. The wines were good for such a young place so it looks like they have a good future. We liked the Sauvignon Blanc, Petit Verdot, and the Tempranillo.

We were there for lunch. Food was good (3.5 - 4 stars). The pepperoni pizza was nice. Thin, crispy crust and tasty toppings. The buratta came with a wonderful pesto but the tomatoes weren’t roasted so didn’t have that full flavor that we expected. It was a fun lunch and we have no huge complaints, just probably not destination fare.

Service was pleasant, friendly, and attentive

Cons: It’s a long drive from most places visitors would be coming from. We stayed at Lake Chelan and this was almost an hour drive. But it’s a gorgeous drive along the river though so worth it!

Our biggest concern though is that the wines are overpriced. They are good but not $50+/bottle good. We’re wine snobs, and we’re willing to pay that for an outstanding wine, but there are many other wines in the greater Lake Chelan area that are superior and less expensive. The Sauvignon Blanc was reasonably priced at $28 but the reds were overpriced.

They charge $4 per taste (per taste… not tasting! Unlike all other wineries around, they do some sort of ‘taste credit’ per taste and we never really got a full explanation of how it works. That’s too much, and only waived for a three-bottle purchase). A full tasting should be waived with a one-bottle purchase.

Overall it was a very pleasant visit and we wish them well. Go for the excellent views, a decent meal, and a nice...

Excellent view of the Columbia River, vineyards, orchards and the hills. We loved our special dinner occasion to celebrate some family birthdays. We had great service on a Saturday night despite our large table size. Kids food was expedited and adults enjoyed the beverage options. I really enjoyed the salmon curry dish (seasonal menu). Next time we come through the area we will definitely stop by! Side note - we did make reservations...

We stayed on site and ate at the restaurant two nights. Staff was very friendly and the food was good. It is the only place to eat in the area. The wines were good and were able to find one we liked and bought a bottle. While I wouldn't stay overnight again, I would visit for wine tasting if I was in...

Rare location with stunning views and fun ( limited) food choices. Food was great! Coconut shrimp was the table's favorite. The wine was explained and presented well, really a satisfying experience.
