Went there today February 15th. 4 flights for tasting $80 $7 returned for every bottle you buy. Ordered the dark red flights. They were delivered promptly and ice cold. They just came out of the refrigerator. Not bouquet, no flavor, nothing. We put them down to warm for 30 minutes. We finally asked for a bottle off the wall hoping it was warmer $40. It was ice cold too. What do they do, turn the heat off at night? So we have a bottle warming and 4 flights. Trying to get something drinkable. So we ordered martinis. The drinks arrived shortly and we enjoyed them and a Charcuterie board that was also very good. So the flights were finally warm and they were......mediocre. Red? Bouquet? No, flavor? zero, smooth? Yes, very. The best I can say is the wine would be best in a box. I would be embarrassed to bring it to friends. After spending yesterday at Fielding Hills drinking Estate Syrah's, Merlot's, and Cabernet's that were wonderful (and room temperature) for just a few dollars more I can only say I was truly disappointed in Lone Point Cellars. The mixed drinks were 5 stars, the venue is 5 stars the staff and service is 5 stars, but the wine? Hard pass. We will be back again to enjoy the venue and next time it will be Lunch and Martinis.i would taste the wine again even if it was free. I wish they had a corkage fee so I could bring good wine and...

Read moreI stayed here for three nights, and while there were some positives, there were also a few issues. The interior was very nice and the bed was very comfortable, and the management was friendly and responsive—even answering questions on Christmas night, which I really appreciated. The views were great, overlooking the vineyards and river.
The power went out for a few hours, and after it came back on, the TVs wouldn’t work. We tried several fixes and even the restaurant server tried to help, but no luck.
The biggest problem was we had neighbors on our first and last days and the walls are pretty thin between the units, so we could hear them walking around and closing doors. There was also a noticeable fly problem, there were dead flies around the bedroom window and bed when we arrived, and I ended up killing a bunch more during our stay.
Overall, it’s a decent place to stay that is dog friendly and has some great views, but some improvements are definitely needed to make the...
