Around The Corner Cafe — Restaurant in Okemah

A very nice old fashioned country atmosphere. When we walked in we were immediately greeted by very upbeat, friendly staff. When we sat down, our server was ready with fresh hot coffee. Our server was not pushy about getting our order, but was immediately at our table when we were ready to order without us having to say a word! As for our meal, it was delicious! My pancakes were light and fluffy, eggs done just as I ordered, and bacon that was not too soft and not too crunchy. I was also brought nice, warmed syrup for my pancakes. My husband ordered a combo plate that had biscuits, hash browns, eggs, and bacon all topped with a nice country gravy (please forgive us for not remembering the name of the dish). He ordered an half serving and could barely finish it; the servings are very generous! The whole visit felt like having breakfast at your favorite grandma’s house…the grandma that loves to spoil you every chance she gets. We are looking forward to going back and trying...

The food is great. The rolls are amazing. Most importantly all the girls working there are the best. Very friendly and stay on top of things. Always feel welcomed every time i go. The only thing i wish was different would be to be open more hours but i understand good help is hard to find. Have i mentioned the prices are very affordable. Cheaper than buying dinner...

Great food, perfect service, really good prices. Cinnamon rolls are great. Would have liked to try some of their pies or cheesecakes, but I was too full. In fact I couldn't eat the cinnamon roll onsite. I had to take them home. Servings were generous. The yeast rolls were hot and delicious. If I lived closer, I would be back for breakfast...
