I was recommended this place by a family member. I will say at first I was skeptical. At this place they do not come to your table and ask for your order like traditional restaurants. You instead go to the counter and order there. They do being you the food to the table.
The pros, food was delicious. The price was very reasonable. They have a salad bar style of different salsas and condiments to enjoy. This was amazing to see. The drinks tasted great. The wait time from ordering to food to table was fast for my large party. Less than 7 minutes.
The cons, ice machine was not working well. When paying with debit/credit there is a fee to use the machine. I don't agree with this at all as I am the customer and believe the business should front that cost. So either have cash or accept a hefty fee to pay with card. There were many flies that were floating around nothing too serious. People came in and out for to go orders so this contributed to that. Kids menu is limited to 3 options. Restrooms are also located outside of building, unsure why.
Overall I had a good experience here and will definitely come back ( with cash) thank you for the...

There is a variety of items on the menu, both breakfast and lunch/dinner plates. There is a charge to use a card, so bring cash. The place is small and can get crowded but service is fast and the tables are quickly turned over/cleaned.
We ordered barbacoa, carnitas, pollo, and al pastor tacos. The barbacoa was good, I suspect made with chuck roast and I personally prefer cheek meat or goat. It was good but not great. The pollo was seasoned well and was good. The carnitas was the best of the meats. Very tender and flavorful. The Al pastor had a good smokiness and flavor.
They have a salsa bar where you can serve yourself. The salsa verde is great. They also have limes and escabeche— this alone makes this place worth a stop. When you add the serve yourself aquas frescas, it earns a solid five star. I tried Jamaica, melón, and Piña. All were good and not too sweet or syrupy. The melón was the best of the three.
Our tacos came with a roasted Serrano that was perfectly spicy. I will definitely come back and explore more...
Read moreThis is more of a dive restaurant located in what was once a Dairy Queen. The food was fresh. Ordered a steak torta and steak tacos. The taco meat was more on the drier side and not heavily seasoned but still good. I assume the seasoning is the taco sauces you choose to use. They have a huge variety of different platters to choose from as well as various sodas, soft drinks and different flavored frescas. There is ample seating and I believe they do get a lot of business from the large amount of horse shows that happen throughout the year as this place is located directly across from the State Fair grounds which besides the horse and livestock shows, host numerous conventions, trade shows and the State Fair of Oklahoma in late...
