Margarita Island — Restaurant in Oklahoma City

Started with the July Special (2X) Tacate Beer w/Tequila shot, met Jack and Auggie two of coolest dudes in town running Karaoke here on Fryday nights in OKC... These guys really know how to tear it up!! The bartenders front and back were great, God Bless Them all. Sang a couple of tunes under the alias of 'DynoMike'... Neon Trees ' Everybody Talks' and The Cure 'Friday I'm in Love' to the Five Birthday Girlz in the house. This is goin to be my go to bar for now on in OKC... I plan on coming back here again for sire!!! Met a girl there; thought she was the coolest girl in the room. She reminded me of Aimee Mann a singer from a Boston band named 'Til Tuesday'. Just happened to be passing through here from outta town; I reside in Melbourne, FL. Btw this /Biker bar has an awesome backyard venue but unfortunately the local townspeople don't dig the sound. If it weren't for that this place has ample space in their backyard to bring in some good local and out-of-town bands to perform outback. I attended a charity fund raiser at Margarita Island yesterday and had a great time. It has a very big footprint of this bar/club and was a nice use of space. There were excellent areas inside and outside for live music, indoor and outdoor bars, some covered areas outside and a lawn in front of the outdoor stage. The band they had playing outside sounded outstanding, the crowd seemed to be very entertained. There was a nice outdoor cooking station to make large amounts of food. There were also two large tables with fire pits in the center that were the perfect touch to the outdoor entertainment area. It was a cold day so the fire was so nice to enjoy. The seating was the only thing I feel they could improve, the seats and stools were very hard, very sparse and most were torn up badly. I went to this bar everything seemed awesome it was the first time I had been out with my wife in months and we get one drink I am talking to my wife and son and I go up to get a drink for my wife and the bat tender said she couldn't serve me because I was sleeping at the table. I hadn't been in the bar fifteen minutes and had one beer only thing I can think of is my wife is native American and every one else in the bar was white. I absolutely was sitting there quietly talking to my wife and adult son who is a licenced counselor. We were neither intoxicated or asleep nor were we acting up. I didn't argue with the bartender and make a scene when it is pointless. I have never been treated like this before. I seriously believe it was they had a problem with my wife's race. I hope they have cameras inside because I know for a fact they can't show me sleeping in there .I will never go...
