Customer service went from less than par to all of egregious. The thinner spanish woman who took my order didn't give a greeting other than to say: What can I get you without looking at me - her manner fully exuded she was tolerating me. The short stout white woman who gave me my order borderline threw it across the counter to me, didn't say a polite departure, while simultaneously turning her back to walk away. The stout woman of course knows how to behave politely when she chooses; while I was waiting at the counter for my order she addressed a customer waiting for their order by name and with a ear to ear smile stood and waited to place the bag in his hand and say a polite departure. The stout woman was handling some of the lids for sides up under the lids with her bare hands verses the sides. The thinner spanish woman had long and also painted fingernails which compromises the integrity of safe food handling, proper and sanitary food handling with a professional appearance. I notice that all the stores are now placing sides in the box with the chicken as opposed to outside the box how they use to which seems best given multiple ppl have handled those containers that are being placed in boxes beside the chicken. I had a reasonable wait of roughly 5 mins, the lobby was clean, the food was fresh and good. When staff always strive to give good customer service there's a high chance of peers mirroring this as well as vice versa. Two staff behaving dishonorably makes for 1-2 star visit. 1...

I like Popeye's but this is the worst one I've ever been to. The manager is the rudest person and the dumbest person I've ever met. It wouldn't surprise me at all if her mama and daddy are brother and sister. She thinks tax-exempt is a discount. She refused to give me tax-exempt if she gave me a Veteran's discount. She said you can't get two discounts. I said tax exempt comes from the state of Oklahoma not from Popeye's. Tax-exempt is not a discount. I get it because I am a 100% disabled Veteran. She gave me a go to hell look and said well you're not gonna get it for free. It wouldn't be for free. I believe she hates Veterans. The guy that works there is just as dumb as she is. The only one that was decent was the cashier. I was explaining it to the cashier and the manager proceeded to talk it over me again. So I said you know what just forget it and I walked out. The cashier was the only one that had a working brain in her head, the rest of them are idiots. If this Popeye's stays in business much longer, I'll be surprised. They scraped the bottom of the barrel when they hired her for a manager. Maybe next time hire a manager whose parents aren't biologically kin to each other. Come check out Rodney, he is the cook behind the great flavor. When I say the chicken was hot and juicy and exploding with flavor, it really was, Most places when ask how fresh is the food they always say oh it's fresh but it's been sitting for a long time under that hot lamp. But he was not lying the chicken was great and fries, and biscuits sp fluffy.. for a truck stop this is great place to eat and you can sit and eat. Clean tables.
