Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Oklahoma City

I showed up just after 11am. Ordered 2 sscb, 1 bac sscb, tots, and ched pep. First off, the burgers were not only COLD, but thrown together. The patties were obviously old and sitting there. My bac sscb had 1 patty and when I say it was old- it was ancient. All the tots were under- done and lukewarm at best, and ched peps were almost ok (chedpeps retain heat well) I worked for Sonic for a number of years, this is unacceptable practice that starts at managment... if I wanted old food I would have went to carlsjr or burger King down the street. I live a mile away, and have for over 20years... i haven't been to this sonic in awhile... so this is what we are to expect when we pay almost $50 dollars to feed 3 now.... I won't be back. I'm embarrassed for you Sonic... that meal was horrid. I didn't bring it back because if you can't get it right the first time in this spectacular manner- why would I think you could fix it? Management should be fired and all cooks retrained. Car hop was friendly and professional... she was the best part of my entire...

9/15/24..I order my kids food the same way every time. When you have an 8 and 5 yr old, it becomes pretty standard. Meat, cheese and bun on their burgers. I wasn't given cheese or charged for it. The manager was shitty about it, told me i didn't order it, though it was repeated back to me when i did. Then told me he would give me the cheese this time but next time he wasn't going to. Had a shitty attitude. I asked how old he was, Because he was acting like an arrogant child who didn't know how to manage a restaurant(i have worked in virtually every aspect of restaurants/kitchens for almost 30 yrs), he snidely said he was 24 but he knows what he is doing. I told him he has the tact of a wildebeast and no idea how to properly handle customers. He brought me out cheese as i was leaving and STILL only gave me cheese for one of my kids burgers. I wish i had caught his name. Will not be returning. I'll just go to the one on santa fe where they know how to talk to folks and fix...

I stopped in at this Sonic a little after 9 PM 5/18/15 with my daughter. I ordered a mini malted brownie bliss and my daughter ordered a small turtle pecan blast. When we received our order I was dismayed to discover a soupy vanilla concoction with chocolate chips. My daughter's was also soupy and contained a few crunchy like things, which I suppose were pecans? I called and told them a mistake had been made. The carhop took the mini thing back and returned with another soupy looking thing. No whipped cream, "sorry, we're out." This was chocolate ice cream and had some brownie bites in the bottom. Certainly not worth the 3 dollars +tax. I'm usually happy with what I purchase at Sonic, although this is the first time I've visited this particular one. We felt like we were in the twilight zone.....I didn't complain again as we had to get back on the road. I will be talking to the manager IF they will answer...
