ordered on the mobile app over memorial day weekend. somehow one of the drinks on the combo meal we ordered was wrong. i asked the carhop to swap out the drink, offered to even pay for a new drink. carhop got an attitude with me, so i got one back. her response was to throw one of the route 44 drinks INSIDE MY CAR. my driver side and some of my passenger side was soaking wet and sticky. my phone got wet and had to take to apple. but the inside of my car needed to be deeply cleaned. my husband was in the car with me and called the manager right after. she said she was sorry for what happened, and also stated she had to have a serious conversation with the carhop. we did reach out to the owner, and he was super nice about the situation. he did offer and send 2 giftcards to get my car cleaned. he handled the situation very nicely, and due to his response I will gladly continue to come to sonic. i was happy with the outcome of the situation and I hope this wont happen again. the owner stated that the carhop would be help accountable for her actions. things happen, but glad we were able to resolve the issue! giving 5 stars due to the managers and owners response to...
Read moreOrdered 2 slushes and a burger through the app. Added tip. Got to Sonic and the slush machine was down, employee came out to tell me machine was down and if they could substitute the slush. I said they could substitute a coke for 1 slush but not the other. The employee said she would send a manager out. He came out and told me he could not give me a free soda. I said I never asked for anything for free. He said well I can't individually refund for items. I said refund the whole ticket then. I was already mad he approached me with the assumption. He brought me a 1800gosonic # to call for my refund. After calling twice I told the manager it was a number for an insurance company. He brought the same # for a third time, I told him to go call it. By then I found the number in the app he came out a 4th time and said instead of 1-800 call 1-866. Had to repeat my order 4 times, correct him multiple times throughout my order, he got a very snarky tone with me. He “forgot” to give me my receipt. When I came back through to ask for it, he didn’t tell me to pull around. When I got to the window he handed it to me and said “bye” and slammed the drive through window fast. My order was incorrect on the receipt. I sat and waited for him to reopen the window. When I explained to him that I wanted a number 6, 6 in chili cheese coni NOT the number 7 (foot long comes with fake meat) he argued with me that that’s what I had ordered.
