We enjoy trying all the vegan spots when we travel. This one did not disappoint. We loved everything we ate. I was amazed at their batter on their fried options. It was amazing. So much flavor. They also have a bulk herb and spice section which I absolutely adored. I own my own vegan food truck and would love to be able to do that same concept but I don't have the retail space so I am a huge fan of their decision to incorporate that and see it in action. I loved the vibe of the place. The art and music was a great addition to the experience. The best part for me though was the local aspect. I will always support local businesses before chain anything. The owners were just incredible humans who took the time to sit and chat with us, as well as the staff was so friendly and helpful. I was so impressed with not only the type of food but the quality. As we are transitioning to vegan due to health issues I found this place to be great for eating out. Not to mention their herb store located off north Britton about a quarter mile from Pennsylvania Ave. Love it and them. Try them out you won't be disappointed.... The best fried okra I've ever had in my entire life!❤️

Went back again today for some of that alkaline goodness and had the sweet and spicy mushwings! OMG! I need some money! Not because they're expensive because their prices to me are beyond reasonable. But because I want to eat there everyday! No cap! You know how when food so good you kinda dance! Well that's exactly what I was doing. I can't wait to try other items on the menu.... I am not Vegan but my out-of-town associate is so I found Cafe420 while looking for a place she would be comfortable eating. What I did not expect was how much I would enjoy the experience of eating here - what a find! The greeting at the door, the friendliness and concern shown by the staff and THE FOOD, was just terrific. Though not Vegan myself, I thoroughly enjoyed my meal, as did my companion. In fact, it is one of the best meals I have had in some time. I cannot wait to go back again and try something else (we had the non-chicken wrap and the mushroom appetizers).
