China Buffet — Restaurant in Okmulgee

It is a typical Chinese Buffet....over priced and very SORRY CUSTOMER SERVICE based on our most recent experience. My husband and I went there for lunch. He works outside and always does his best to stomp and wipe all of the dirt off his boots and clothes before going inside anywhere. When we got inside and paid for our Buffett's the lady at the register LITERALLY came around and started YELLING AT MY HUSBAND THAT HE WAS TOO DIRTY TO BE INSIDE HER RESTAURANT. Being the gentleman he his he did not say a word back. Im so very glad I didn't realize she was talking to him. There's no telling what I might have done other than add to her scene and demand our money back. But once we got seated two other customers came to our table and apologized to him for the way he was treated. I was surprised and said she was talking to him? And they both said no she was YELLING AT HIM. So I am hoping that the people there read these reviews so hopefully that lady will learn this: IF YOU OPERATE A PUBLIC BUSINESS WHERE PEOPLE COME INSIDE TO BE YOUR CUSTOMERS PLEASE BE NICE. YOUR CUSTOMERS WORK JUST AS HARD FOR THEIR MONEY AS YOU DO YOURS. IF A PERSON COMES INSIDE TO EAT YOU SHOULD ALLOW THEM THAT OPPORTUNITY TO EAT IN PEACE BECAUSE THEY ARE PAYING FOR IT. I literally feared for my life...so me and my 3 friends walked in in May and there was no AC in there we walked up to the counter and we said 4 people then the 15 year old Asian kid helped us asked if we were together or separate and we I said separate then the kid who was working the register said well you could have told me that sooner. So this kid starts asking us if we prefer credit cards over using debit cars. Like our opinion of them. Then we saw the sign. Human beef...no oh wait it says Hunan beef that freaked me out. The food, was not so great also there was only 1 other person in the joint and this was 8pm. Then we I left the table a kid probably 8 sat in my seat a literally said to my friends that I'm not coming back and proceeded to have a conversation about what would happen to the hierarchy of our group then I got back and he gave me my seat back then my friend found what was probably a cockroach in the food after reading the other reviews. Then the 8yrold comes back and peaters and poked us and as he left to refill my drink he said he would try not to poison it. This was about 30min in a still I had not seen any adult staff. First, when you pull up and see the restaurant, you will immediately be skeptical. It is definitely a hole in the wall with a kind of shady atmosphere. When you walk into the restaurant, you will definitely have you believing that you will definitely get food poisoning. Surprisingly enough, the food was great. They brought fresh food out, and the flavor was amazing. The service was good too. The lady there kind of scared me when she punched my arm to ask if I was done with my plate, but luckily, I have a sense of humor, and she was very sweet. Refills were brought timely and without even having to flag them down.

With all that being said, don't use the bathroom there. I am not sure if they had some issues, but when I walked in and saw the sign saying, "Please don't flush anything down the toilet" on the wall, I immediately got nervous. It wasn't until I looked over and saw the smeared feces on the wall that I realized it was time to go.
