Me and my co-workers took our boss out to eat, at lunch time, last Thursday , for her birthday. I called the day before to reserve a table since it would be right at noon time when we would arrive. Since I had called ahead of time and let them know it was for her birthday …they went all out and decorated the table, fresh flowers, candles, balloons for birthday girl’s chair and laminated birthday sign with her name on it. Then to top it off, she received her choice of a slice of cheesecake for her birthday dessert on a beautifully decorated plate, along with a sparkler for the candle. The food was amazing too! The manager Katie went all out and she made Haley’s birthday extra special❤️ Each one of us will definitely be back and if you want to make someone’s birthday very special and eat amazing food …go to Joe’s Italian Restaurant in Okmulgee, Ok. You will not be disappointed.

The SERVICE was awesome. The ATMOSPHERE was weird, but maybe they haven't redecorated since last place. Some decorations didn't match the Italian restaurant theme, and the music almost sounded like white noise. FOOD. We loved the garlic bread with oil and my dish of Chicken Fettuccine Alfrado. Salad tasted and looked like it was prepackaged salads one can get from Walmart. The Calamari has some spices on it, I personally dont like heat, I did not like it because of this. Husband got the Ligunini Tutomare. He said it was okay but tasted fishy. Our last hope was the Tiramsu. Which tasted like it was made with cream cheese... which tasted weird for two tiramsu lovers. Overall, it wasn't too bad for a newer place in a small town. I would go back if I wanted Italian again since it's closer for us.

I recently dined at Joe’s Italian Restaurant and was blown away by the delicious food and exceptional service. The pizza was bursting with flavor, and the salad ingredients were incredibly fresh. The mozzarella on the Caprese salad was some of the best I’ve ever had. For dessert, the Italian cream cake was absolutely mouthwatering. My server, Dez, was amazing and very knowledgeable about the menu. To top it off, the manager, Katy, visited our table to ensure we had everything we needed. She proceeded to chat with every single customer. Now that’s customer service! Joe’s Italian Restaurant is a must-visit for anyone craving authentic Italian cuisine! How did Okmulgee get so lucky?! I hope they never leave!

We decided to eat here tonight because the first time we came here (group of 20+) it was flawless. Today was the absolute worst customer service ever, McDonald's did better. We were sat, went to the restroom and still hadn't been asked what we wanted to drink. There were 4 tables seated and 1 was leaving as we were seated. The women on shift (over 5 girls) were grouped together at the front table where they get silverware organized. No one came to ask our drink order. 10mins goes by, finally 1 girl after our patience was running thin, came over to us, because we were looking for anyone at this point, took our order at 7:22, we sat at 6:58. Menus had already been closed and pushed to the edge of the table as well, it was not as if we were still grazing the menu. All of the women on shift were more focused on what they were doing tonight and what they were getting on tips to even care about doing their jobs, unfortunate side of being sat next to the register. Food was decent, tasted freezer burnt, but customer service should be top priority because if your customers want to walk away because a female employee is more focused on a boy texting her back or like the one employee (not pictured) constantly outside on her phone for the entire 50mins we were there, no one is going to return. All women on tonight's shift did a horrible job, put your phones away, stop the gossip, and do your job. The women did not stay at their post or even inside for that matter, too busy spending time with them...

We were in town from the Dallas area and lucked out finding this gem, nestled in the heart of downtown, offering a charming dining experience that feels both cozy and refined. As soon as you step through the door, the warm wooden accents and soft lighting create an inviting atmosphere that sets the tone for a delightful meal. From the moment we were greeted to the final farewell, the service was impeccable. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu, offering thoughtful recommendations based on our preferences. They were kind and patient with our youngest as she is a talker and they had multiple conversations with her which she fully enjoyed. My personal favorites were the rolls, and spinach artichoke dip but my older daughter would disagree with me because she praised each bite of her pizza and continued talking about it throughout the evening. I wish I would’ve explored more of the menu. Dessert was a must, we indulged in cannolis togo, and they were delicious!

Hoping to make it back, and side note.. if you’re attending the college in town, they offer...

Stopped in tonight for our first visit. We were highly disappointed. My silverware which was a fork, had hard dried food caked on it so bad that as I took a bite of my food, when I pulled the fork from my lips it cut my top lip. Waitress was fine, friendly apologetic. Not her fault. I ordered speghetti with meat balls and meat sauce. The pasta was over cooked, the meat sauce was just ok. The meat balls tasted exactly like the frozen meatballs from Walmart. Wife had Fettuccine Alfredo. The sauce tasted exactly like jar sauce from the store and the chicken was the stripped seasoned chicken you get in a bag at the store. The absolute best part of our experience was the Warm bread rolls sprinkled with processed cheese. My opinion is I could stayed home and made better food fresher tasting food with the exact same ingredients for less than half the price. So...
