My Mother a Latina who struggles with English ordered a pizza deal at 640pm a deluxe and added a medium cheese pizza off of a deal for five dollars. They messed up and gave her crazy bread instead and my mother told them it was a mistake. They decided to make her a new pizza my mother due to having to go to work told them she'd leave and try to comeback later. Here's my problem and where we knew we were wrong, My mother got off work and asked me to go with her to get the pizza at a 11pm I asked if she called and she did not. Still my mom wanted to check. I humored her and we went. When we got there we tried to explain the situation we weren't demanding a pizza just my mom was hopeful it may somehow be there and the General manager she said her name was Christie or Chrissy got livid and was yelling at my mother demanding to know why she didn't call or anything I calmly asked her to calm down my mother struggles with English and didn't think to call but this General manager pressed on and my mother tried to explain we did not come to fight we were just hoping it may be there the manager went on to tell us how because she had to throw away the pizza she had to pay for it and that would take away money from her own children's mouths. My mother felt horrible and still wanted to just pay and leave and this women pressed on and on yelling. We didn't ask her to make a pizza not once but she yelled it clearly that she was not going to make another I hope sincerely he gets better training as a manager not once in my time or my parents time in working at fast food or restaurants have we seen a manager do this. My father was a manger of two burger kings and he was shocked and commented she must not have the proper training. It will be a while before we come back to Marcos pizza and it is our favorite pizza place but after getting yelled at by a manager over a miscommunication I mean it was just so unprofessional. Really hope the management steps up and realizes getting louder doesn't help someone whose second language is English understand. When you clearly state you're angry at us and are yelling at two customers how are we supposed to respond. I have no idea what to say just...
Read moreFirst off I wanna state that I had never had a problem with Marco's pizza before. I always do delivery even though I live super close to this location. Upon my normal orders I never ever was missing an item and even got coupons for ordering so often.
The reason why I have to give Marcos pizza a 2 stars is because they have yet to give me my $15 refund and it has been over a month. It was around an hour and a half before delivery ends and I decided to order some wings. About an hour later the wings arrived at my door, I always check the stuff before the driver leaves my door but this driver just turned around and left really quickly (I tipped about $3 on top of my 15). Anyway as I am standing by the door I notice the wings are buffalo so immediately I call Marcos Pizza. The frist time I called I was super confused because the Manager stated he would handle it. So about 15 mintues later I call back and ask if my new wings are coming or if I need to pick them up delivery hours are almost over. The mananger tells me that he will give me a coupon for the wings thats all they could do. The coupon btw only covered the wings and not delivery which I also payed for. I won't lie and say that my mom didn't jump in a start yelling but I really dont understand why the mananger couldnt drop more in the 30 mintue window time. Plus I called the next day to see if I could get my money back and the girl who picked of the phone claimed she knew nnothing about it. I mean it is $18 but I am still confused about all of this. And do they not double check stuff before they send it out because the receipt clearly said BBQ and I have never seen a manager not try to quickly...
Read moreThis is my second and my last time trying Marco's. I understand that it's snowing and that it's cold and everybody's working hard.... But I came to pick my order up because I am in a warehouse and I didn't want them to have to deliver to the warehouse. And they got the order wrong and I didn't even have time to have them fix another one to correct it, but they didn't really care that they got it wrong anyway. Even though I do carry out I leave a tip just in hopes that they would actually pay attention to the order get it correct or even just care a little. So after spending $22 for one pizza only to get disappointment because they didn't put all the toppings on it and I even asked if they were out of the toppings and the young lady responded know we have it they just, didn't put it on the pizza. It really sucks when you're in hurry cuz you don't have time to wait for them to put another Pizza in to fix it and I ordered in advance so they would have time to look at the order and get it correct.
