This park is a fantastic place for the entire family. Not only is there a two-part playground that is in the style of a ship, but one side is for the smaller children while the other is for the older ones and they are linked by a set of monkey bars! Additionally, there is an ample swing set with a side for small ones as well as for everyone. There is rubber for the flooring beneath the swings and a faux grass beneath the playground. There are multiple pavilions with a grill and trash can located nearby as well as a walking trail that is paved and a few that are not. Nearby, there is a soccer field. Read morePretty rough in more ways than one. They have two shelters to rent with a picnic table in each. One was rented for a birthday party and everyone decided to be barefoot. Kids had balloons with large sequin confetti and popped them all over the playground equipment. The sequins stuck to their feet. The swings chains were rusted. One kid that was under 5 yrs old took the magic out of the f word because it was used so much (I work with sailors). He also kept walking one step behind my daughter and running over her. Read moreSo my 4 year old and almost 18 month old never play together at parks, but this playground is condensed enough and set up in such a way that I can track my 4 year old and make sure my dare devil toddler does not fall off the playground equipment at the same time. This is rare as so many parks are too spread out for this and have play equipment that would not be safe for my clumsy 4 year old unless someone was right with her.
