Anley's Restaurant (Formerly Pizza Plus) — Restaurant in Old Lyme

I used to be a huge fan of this place when it was owned by the Greek gentleman. They used the freshest ingredients for a reasonable price. This is no longer the case. My son's mother ordered a small pizza and small order of chicken wings a week ago, they charged almost $30! Last night I ordered a large house salad. Ice berg lettuce, a few tomatoes, it did have some rolled up cold cuts, which was too much meat. They somehow forgot the onions. $18! Absolutely insane. The people were nice enough, but you would be smiling too if you were making 900% profit. I won't be going back. ...

Had a wonderful meal with the family and got a great deal. We had ordered a large pie with wings and a 2 liter of soda, all for under $30! The owner, Caitlin, is very attentive and kept checking in on us throughout our meal and ensured we had everything we needed. The menu has lots of options, so there is something for everyone. We ordered a large pizza and a calzone the other night for pick-up. Anley's called us right back to let us know they were out of ricotta for the calzone, we said no problem, next time. But, much to our surprise and delight, when we went to pick up our pizza, they had our calzone, ricotta and all, ready for us. The above and beyond customer service was much appreciated! And the calzone was delicious - it topped my list of all time...
