Vecchitto's Italian Ice — Restaurant in Old Lyme

Every time I would visit my grandparents over the summer, for as long as I can remember, this was the place I wanted to go. Never tried any flavor besides watermelon but I would get a container of it. That would last me maybe 1-2 days because I ate it like it was going out of style. I’m 40 years old now, my grandparents are sadly gone and i moved out of state many years ago but I’ve never forgotten how great this place is and how much I looked forward to coming here.
