Grill 65 — Restaurant in Old Orchard Beach

Our first time. We were there on a Saturday at 2 pm. When we entered there were 3 people at bar. No tables occupied. Sat at a table. Waitress came quickly with a menu. Unfortunately it was just a dinner menu vs all day and no drink menu. Once mentioned she quickly brought over additional menus. I chose the tacos and husband NY strip medium. Ordered promptly then the wait began. We finally got served at 2.50. I did see the ? Chef a couple times? appears we woke him from a nap.We were the only customers. Waitress never came over to talk or explain the delay. Although maybe they think this is normal... My tacos were very good. The NY strip was overcooked. The Waitress yelled from the bar to ask about the food. Never approached our table other than to place order. Food ok if you want to twiddle your thumbs... service...

We sat and waited for about 15 mins before anyone even came over. Not a good first impression. We decided to order all our stuff at once just incase. She took our order and we did mentioned that we still wanted the apps first. Apps were slow coming out of the kitchen. Infact we had to get her attention because she forgot one. After taking our order she came back to tell us that seafood risotto was not available . And they were all out of some of the ingredients for the rice bowl. I had the rice bowl anyone. But my husband just winged it without being given a recipe. What a disappointing anniv dinner. He didnt eat. And he told her so when she came back with the bill but she didnt care. He wanted to try something new off his bucket list. But its...

Service is extremely slow. Took 30 mins before anyone came to take our drink order. Another 30 mins to take our food order. Completely understand places being short staffed but this was over the top. We did have a reservation too. When our food finally did come we were missing one meal. Thought they had gone to get it but 10 mins later no one had returned so had to flag the server down to let her know it was missing. The food was delicious so it’s disappointing that we won’t return due to the horrible service. Lots of reservations came in as we sat there so not sure why they would keep taking them when they obviously can’t...
