Bella Italia Pizza Restaurant — Restaurant in Oley Township

It’s a shame, I moved back to Oley in 2018 with my family and we would eat here in the summer time once sometimes twice a week, it would be fair to say they had some of the best pizza and sandwiches in town. Unfortunately over the last few years the business has declined dramatically, primarily in the most important facet, the food. I’m no one but it really upsets me how much this place has declined, the “facelift” or new front desk is merely a facade of what’s going on behind it. This is the 4th time I’ve ordered food there and it turn out downright awful, two times in a row we’ve ordered cheesesteaks that were the literal opposite of requested order, the bread was chewy and was easily a few days old, the fries cold and undercooked and the cheese sauce was literally sour. My last and final attempt was this evening and to no avail was a terrible experience yet again, simple order, well done pizza half veggie half pepperoni, the pepperoni was fine but the veggie aspect was terrible, they literally took raw uncooked veggies, broccoli stems, put them on the pizza and barely cooked it, the veggies were cold and so was the cheese they tried to camouflage the pizza with, not to mention the base of the pizza was mush and literally fell apart. I’m incredibly disappointed and dismayed with the unsettling reality that this establishment is in the state it’s in. I hope they turn it around for their future but I will never return. One of my most favorite places ! Great bunch , been going here for years so long I don't even use the front door lol little inside joke ! Plus the have the best rolls for miles ! Love there extra large 🍕, bet u can't eat just one slice even tho a 1/2 of a slice will fill u up ! My favorite Hoagie there is a Italian Special , along with some fries or even more times their Onion rings !! Mario and his posse' are definitely hard workers and they are on their game ! I use to drive here before I moved into the area because of reasons like the hospitality and everything made to perfection ! O don't let me forget their burgers. They got the beef and the soft round potato roll heck yeah ! Ok I'm done now I'm hungry ! Guess where I'm going to order ! Just stopped in on a quick hungry whim. Excellent choice!!! My husband and I both ordered a slice and a small sub. The people were super friendly and even told us how to make our order a little cheaper. When the slices came out (his a plain slice & mine buffalo chicken stuffed slice) they were humongous!!!!! I've had entire pizzas that were smaller than them! They were each only $3.75 a slice. My slice was an entire meal. I could only take a single bit of my tuna sub just to see how it was. It was very good also. My husband managed to eat his slice and half his sub. He said it was the BEST meatball sub he thinks he has ever had. Put it this way, I don't leave reviews normally, but as soon as we got into the car, I looked at how to leave one. If you get the chance and you are close, stop in. It's worth the stop!
