Los Chilangos — Restaurant in Olivehurst

As far as we are concerned Los Chilangos will be the ONLY Mexican restaurant we will be going to because all the other Mexican restaurants in this area suck! The only other Mexican restaurant worth going to in the Yuba/Sutter area closed after many years of service and since then we have wasted so much time and money looking for something similar and we have finally found it in Los Chilangos! The wet burrito looks better than the pictures and my husband loved it, it was huge, the sauces were very tasty, and the presentation was beautiful. I had the Camarones Rancheros and they were delicious and a very healthy portion, I could only eat half and had the other half for lunch the next day. The salsa and pico de gallo were right on-time with flavor, texture and heat, and the chips are nice and crispy but not so hard to crack a tooth! I really like the laid back atmosphere and the ladies are just as sweet as can be, answering all my questions, got my order right the first time, and they were pleasant to talk to during my visit. I went to this place for the first time the other day. I've had a lot of tacos in the past few years but I've never had a taco that tasted as good as this. They're $0.99 for their tacos which is an amazing price and not only is the price good but it actually tastes so good the meat has so much flavor they listen to me when I ordered they were kind polite. They also have whole chickens outside on the weekends Friday Saturday and Sunday that you can buy for 10 bucks they're gorgeously barbecued on the open fire grill outside and everybody seems very friendly and polite anything that you get sure is going...

Los Chilangos reminds me of a casino — you’re gambling every time you walk in. Most visits feel like a roll of the dice, and the odds aren’t exactly in your favor. You might get lucky once in a while and end up with a decent meal, but more often than not, you’re left wondering why you took the chance.
