We had an incredible experience at The Warden’s Table, dining there two nights in a row with our group of six. Every single item on the menu was outstanding—better than any national bbq chain and shockingly affordable!

Both nights, the place was packed, yet the line moved quickly, and we barely had time to sit before our food was ready. We sampled a wide variety of dishes, including burgers, nachos, loaded potatoes, pork plates, and the brisket French dip—and every bite was phenomenal. The brisket on the French dip was better than what you'd find at most local BBQ joints!

To top it all off, the staff was exceptionally friendly and welcoming, making the entire experience even better. If you're visiting Brushy Mountain, this spot is an absolute must-try! We’ll...

Toured Brushy Mountain prison yesterday and had to eat at The Warden's Table. It was a fantastic experience. Very sweet girls taking the orders. You eat prison style on steel trays just like in the prison. I had a smoked bologna sandwich that was probably 2" thick. It was smoked perfectly and full of flavor. Got an order of curly fries that were delicious. Cooked perfectly and a big serving. You also got a slice of watermelon and a chocolate chip cookie. The atmosphere is really cool. It's like a prison chow hall. Very clean and very well run. A BBQ assembly line pumps out food quickly. Great food, great atmosphere and great service. I highly recommend a visit to The...

We come with a tour group and was ONLY offered their standard tour group food. Which was corn cake, turkey, Mac & Cheese and green beans. I was not a fan simply because Turkey is just not my favorite meat. I did eat the other items and they were good. I feel their goal with our lunch was to give us the "prisoner" dining experience. Not really sure.

They do have a full cafe there and the food smelled and looked wonderful. I saw Pulled Pork, Hamburgers & BBQ as just a few items on their long menu.

However the Wardens Lounge is a good place and they do have a fine set up going on.

I would recommend this place to eat even if you are not...

The Warden’s Table is a fantastic spot to grab lunch, especially after touring the museum nearby. The Killer Potato definitely lived up to its name — absolutely loaded and bursting with flavor. It was hearty, satisfying, and honestly, worth the trip on its own. I also tried the pulled pork plate with slaw, and it was just as impressive — tender, smoky, and packed with that classic BBQ goodness. The slaw added a perfect crunch and balance. The vibe is laid-back and welcoming, making it a great place to relax and refuel. If you’re in the area, don’t miss it — this place knows how to serve up serious flavor!
