El Dorado Bar — Restaurant in Oliver

Ordered a sausage pizza. Pretty sure the menu indicated Italian Sausage, but got breakfast sausage. When we mentioned it to the waitress, well that is when it turned from a still pleasant experience to a disappointing one. The waitress response to our inquiry, not a complaint, into the sausage on the pizza was one that leaves me no choice but to leave this review. Rather than offer us an explanation as to why breakfast sausage was used, she treated our inquiry like it was a personal attack on herself. She kept saying she doesn't do the ordering for the toppings used and so there was no other explanation to be made. All we wanted to know was whether or not there was italian sausage for their pizzas available as option or was the breakfast sausage the only thing available. She just kept saying she didn't do the ordering. It was very odd to us that she wouldn't have provided us with better customer service by saying she wasn't sure but could find out. It wasn't clear if she just was being lazy and didn't want to have to go ask or was just really that bad at her job. Either way, it's these kind of experiences that leaves me not ever wanting to go...

Stopped to have supper last night and totally not impressed. There was all of maybe 6 people in the place. We ordered a burger basket and a wrap. It took about 50 minutes for us to get our food. The cook had to take about 10 minutes to clean the grill. Then she cooked an order that must have been placed before ours. Anyways, the burger was so small barely covering the bun, barely any fries and they were undercooked and cold, and the buffalo sauce on the wrap tasted like they mixed italian dressing with the buffalo sauce. I was not impressed by it. I asked for a side salad and was told they don't have them BUT, my wrap came with lettuce and tomatoes on it. Hmmm...Well, sadly, we will not be back nor will we recommende this...

I had been seeing advertisements for this area and also saw lots of recommendations so I decided to check it out. Decide to try a Tuesday night for their tacos. We tried the softshell, hardshell, and homemade tacos. All of them were really really good especially the homemade one which I believe is a flour tortilla lightly fried. But yes the food was as delicious as others have said.

As for the atmosphere it was clean and open. We were greeted and waited upon right away. Will definitely go back to try some other food items...
