So excited to have this new bagel shop and brunchette in the Field Club neighborhood! The food is fantastic — the bagels are fresh, the sandwiches are creative, and there’s truly something for everyone. I’m biased, but you should definitely get The Karla.
I’ve seen some comments about the staff not being welcoming, but I’ve never found that to be the case. They’re busy — there’s usually a line to the door (which tells you something!) — but they’re efficient, friendly, and get your food out quickly. As an adult I’m also not expecting anyone to fawn over me or walk me through the menu; they’re focused on keeping things moving so we can all enjoy our food without a long wait.

It’s basically a ham and cheese sandwich but the ham is thick cut and smoked and paired with havarti and a sweet Dijon sauce. I would say the sauce is what made the sandwich special, but that wouldn’t be fair to the bagel which was crisp on the outside but soft and chewy on the inside. I also got an iced mocha before we left and that was great too. You can tell they use good chocolate in their syrup which made it feel like an indulgent post-lunch treat. Ultimately an awesome first experience at Know Good and I look forward to making this spot a part...
