If you have little ones under the age of 8, and would like to take them swimming, this is definitely the place for you and your little ones to go and enjoy some fun in the sun. They are only open from 12:00 p. m, to 6:00 p. m. Weather permitting and they are open. The depth of the pool ( or wading pool) does not exceed over 2 to 3 feet. Any children under the age of 6, will be required to wear a wristband and so will the parent and can not be farther than arms length away from a parent at all times. It's great for a low cost entry fee of $2.00 for adults and children are $1.00 (please check ahead in case price has increased) they have a mandatory rest break every hour and offer a little sand area and showers to wash away the sand before reentering the pool. It's got a little water slide and only one child allowed on the steps at a time, and a small slide for littler ones. Be sure that you make your little ones wear shoes into the bathroom and everyone must take a shower before entering the pool. There's plenty of shade to allow for picnic blankets and they do offer some lounge chairs and umbrellas for extra shade. But, be aware that they can become extremely busy with day cares and large families and some kids that should not be in there because they are too rowdy and don't seem to listen. Lifeguards are very strict and don't allow anyone to run or climb on any of the water structures that have water or walking up a slide. It's good for short time in the sun or late afternoon play, just be advised that the parking lot is small and not easily to turn around in or enter or exit from. Call ahead and find out if they are open or allowing outside food and drinks inside...

So this is a great park. There is a small zero depth pool for the little kids in the summer, as well as a small pond and plenty of open space. A lot of people frequent the dog park. I have never used it personally though so I can't say much on how it compares. The park isn't considered the safest at night, but it is totally fine during the day. The only reason I marked it down to 4 stars is because the playground was in disarray. It was recently demolished with the intention of replacement. As of today (March 2017) there is no new playground. When it is finished I am hoping it will make for an...

Three fenced areas, no designation for big or small dogs. I watched a shih tzu get attacked by a German Shepherd as a result of this. People who come to this park don’t seem to care if their dog has worms or fleas with them either. I both observed worm-infested dog poop that hadn’t been picked up AND all three of my dogs ended up with fleas. Bringing a dog with fleas to a dog park is like taking a kid to school with lice and I find the fact that people clearly don’t recognize this disgusting. Bottom line is, it’s a horrible and visibly unmanaged dogpark. Go to Hefflinger if you want a safer way to...

I'd be great if they could put more sidewalks so I can walk my very aggressive Chihuahua, he's not suitable to play in the dog park that is always full of friendly male dogs(He's not aggressive to female dogs) . Once when the park was empty I decided to let him play in the small dogs area and you will not believe what that little troublemaker did. He managed to go to the big dogs area and ran off, turns out the fence literally had a bigass hole and he literally ran off like a running rabbit.
