Decided to give the âbrunchâ a go as weâve been to dinner and enjoyed. We came first thing as they opened and was seated at a high top in the bar...
Coffee if you want black is delish per my partner. I on the other hand prefer almond or soy milk instead of creamer or regular milk. They do not have so I stuck with water. But..they do push their alcoholic drinks. Oh, but after seeing one of the servers use a straw to âtake something outâ and then swirl the drink before taking to a table...Iâll pass on any type of mixed drink.
My partner ordered Breakfast Lavash âhe enjoyed his pizza flat thing.
I ordered their prime rib and potato cake with a side of French toast.
This is where it goes south...fast.
We watched a gal walk around with a side of French toast. Finally after she walked the entire place and in/out of the kitchen twice decided to come over to us. I believe she was a manager. She dropped it off and went to take off when I asked if it was usual to drop off our side without our food?
The French toast was very soggy because itâd been sitting and then walked all over the restaurant. Had it came out hot and not soggy, the flavor would have been much better.
Our food came out shortly after. She didnât apologize or come back over and check on us.
My main dish.... Prime Rib & Potato Cakes
Prime rib âwell done and flat. The taste was a reheated microwaved piece of ick. I had to use the bread / steak knife to cut. It was disgusting....One bite and the rest in a to go box for my dog.
Upon asking our server he said they have Prime Rib Friday and Sat â itâs the leftovers. I paid $15+ for LEFTOVERS? Thanks, but no!
The potato cakes appeared crispy on the outside and almost crunchy barely thawed on the inside. The flavor wasnât bad, but I couldnât get over the âundoneâ texture. Again...probably leftovers from the previous evening.
The server didnât seem to care when I complained and apparently didnât say anything to a manager or did and he / she just didnât care. Either way, training on customer service is key. I got a to go box to give my dog a $15 reheated piece of steak.
Would I return? Not for brunch, and frankly, may have issues getting over if their food is fresh or reheated from previous nights.
Donât expect to have salt, pepper or hot sauce...you have to request these items and when the pepper is âstuckâ given a toothpick to unstick it.
Sad. Wouldnât be as bad had we not travelled 30+ mins.
Return? A lot has to happen for me to get up on a Sunday and chose this place out of the 20+...
Read moreJust took the dad in our family out to brunch here for Father's Day. I highly recommend you make a reservation if you plan on dining here (Though you really should make a reservation anytime you dine in a restaurant, as a courtesy to the staff and to ensure yourself a table). Our waitress was fantastic! She was very friendly and helpful, very prompt with everything that we ordered. She deserves at least five stars. đ The menu looks wonderful and everything sounds very appealing, but, we were a bit disappointed once we got our main course. The portion sizes are fairly small... The order of hash browns my husband got with his griddled prime rib were barely 2 in in diameter. The plate costs $20 comes with tiny hash browns that are nearly lost sausage gravy that appears broken and chunky...and not chunky from the sausage. Fairly disappointed in that. I've also never seen orange to red colored hollandaise sauce before in my life. ?? Perhaps the hollandaise and house salsa were mixed? The plate looked messy and I guess it just wasn't what we were expecting. I had the lemon ricotta pancakes and they were very light and fluffy and had wonderful texture! The raspberry sauce was also very good but, I had a hard time discerning any lemon flavor. The order comes with two pancakes and no sides for $14...In my opinion, they aren't worth $7 apiece but, they were good and well-executed. The highlight of our meal was the fig and prosciutto flatbread that we started with. Excellent flavor combinations! It was delicious. I think we would be okay with the small entree portion sizes for the cost if the food was absolutely amazing but, it was not amazing. Good, but not fabulous. I don't believe we will be back for brunch but, we are happy we tried it and may come in again for dinner sometime...because everyone has a slightly off day, especially if it's a high volume day like...
Read moreDear owner: highly recommend you to check your cameras so you donât think Iâm BSing You! Saturday 2:00 pm reservation and we were seated by the tables near the bar. The ones that are a few steps down from the dinning room. The bartender was never available for us because she was busy making drinks and taking care or the bar. I had to shout at her for water refills and salt and pepper bc she was never there. I also had to get another server with glasses to get us refills. 2:34 and our food wasnât at the table. She came by to say âIâll go and check on your foodâ. 2:45, Caesar Chicken salad and Burger arrive to the table. Everything was COLD! Chicken was cold. Beef Patty was cold and toppings of jalapeños were not on the burger as requested. AGAIN, Check your cameras the restaurant was half empty not busy at all for the time of our food to be that late and food being delivered how it was. Once again, bartender nowhere to be reachable so we had to get up to tell her about our food. After she had gone to the kitchen and came back apologizing for such error, older Lady with glasses came to apologize for what just happened. Also she tells us that the CHEFF had made few rearrangements to the menu so the Caesar Chicken salad will be served always coldâŠ. But the menu says âgrilled chickenâ not âcold chickenâ anywaysâŠ. $19/20 dollars for a cold salad? I donât think so! Now the burger being cold, toppings missing and your bartender never available? We saw a table next to us getting up to go up to the bar to get drinks from her. This to me was an insult to your prices in food, serving skills meaning your people working there and your excuses to why the food was cold. Bartenders should focus on the bar. And if the food is/looks cold and mediocre, DONT...
