Went in with my 3 kids on 11/1 on a Saturday for dinner around 5:45pm. Was a bit busy and during dinner rush. Was told it be a wait on the food and I was fine with it thinking maybe 30 mins to 45 mins. That was not the case. I have been in the food industry myself and have worked in a few Asian restaurants during my time. I will not blame the servers and the 1 kitchen staff that was there. The 2 servers seemed to be young teens and trying to manage the front house as the kitchen staff was dedicated in cooking, preparing, and maybe doing dishes all at the same time. My biggest complaint is that especially on the weekend and after Halloween, to be more staffed and prepared. The servers were trying but were busy that they couldn’t even check on the guest if they needed refills. They apologized and let other customers that came after my family had came in (about 4-5 groups with maybe 3 or more people) that there would be an extended wait time. Which meant literally in a 45 min time span they let possibly 500 dollars walk out that door. I started seeing maybe a few plates brought out and realized 7 other tables were not even served yet so we left. I paid for our drinks and saw the server rang our drinks and take off our meals and it was close to 70 dollars and possible tip so let’s say 90 dollars. Again 100 dollars walk out the door. (Just constructive feedback from a fellow food industry member and help run a few Asian family restaurants: staffing ,consistency, and and better dinning...
Read moreWent with a group of five people on a Friday night. The hostess said right away up front "We can seat you at any table you'd like, but please know that there will be roughly an hour wait on the food". Our group really appreciated the transparency of the wait time. We weren't starving when we came in so we didn't mind the wait at all. We ordered everything we wanted and just hung out. The owner came by numerous times to talk with us and seeing if we needed anything or wanted refills on drinks. The staff were very polite, and the owner wants to make sure everyone is enjoying themselves even if the wait on food is a little long.
Once the food came, we had red curry with chicken and rice, two orders of Pho, pineapple curry chicken fried rice, chicken ramen, an order of crab Rangoon's, and an order of samosas. All of the food was phenomenal! The spices and fresh herbs in every dish were perfect! There are so many menu items to choose from too, a great variety! We will most certainly be back! If you're in the mood for legit Asian food, or just a change up in flavors, you've gotta give this...
Read moreTasty Thai just opened and they are already extremely popular and busy. On a Thursday evening, the restaurant was busy by 5pm, all tables were filled and with many take orders coming through.
It's a small family owned restaurant and they do the best they can to be attentive with the crowd which is amazing.
We had a group of 8 and all of us ordered a bit of everything to try and i will say, Tasty Thai is by far the best Asian restaurant in town since moving here. Their seasoning is perfectly on point! The start dishes of the night was the Lao Papaya & Samosas. Highly recommend during your visit. Otherwise all the noodle dishes are amazing!
Service may be slow but that's only because they are extremely busy so I'd say be patient because you are definitely forgotten. All dishes are cooked by order so it is fresh and hot.
Warning: If you like spicy food, I'd recommend 1 pepper only as their pepper is very spicy. I have high tolerance for spice and 1 pepper was equivalent to 5.
Check them out! They are great and we will definitely...
