They might be able to mow a park but they cannot maintain a hiking trail. Trees down and blocking trails for 6 months of the year for the last 2 winters. Main trail to overlook was blocked by down trees during fall colors and through the winter. There are 2 trees down on trail now that have been there since July (it’s September now). Buckthorn, barberry, prickly ash and brambles so bad you have to be fully clothed to not injure yourself but it tears your clothing. See pics! They don’t do anything proactively- just reactively after a tree falls down whenever they get around to it. Lots of deadfalls hanging over trails. No signage at trail head about keeping dogs on a leash or cleaning up after them so this is a big problem as well. Do yourself a favor and go to Hixton trails in LaCrosse to hike!! Excellent maintenance on those trails.

I have never seen a coach that is so narcissistic and only plays his own son and the assistant coaches son in every single game. I see the high fives to the coaches son while he’s sitting there yelling at the other kids on the bench. It’s pathetic and I will never sign my kids up for anything in Onalaska again at least never with this coach!!! To think the only real reason why this coach volunteered was just to be there to help his son and really no one else! His son isn’t even that good. I just don’t get it and I’m not gonna pretend to. It’s been a terrible experience for me and my family!!!! Onalaska is a very who’s who community!!!!! Period and no one stands up for...
