You spend years buying cheap Folger’s coffee, or spending a touch more on Seattle’s Best. All the while you think you’re getting a great cup of joe each day. Then you travel out to Gather Coffee Lounge and you take a gamble on their roast. You get home, you open the can, embrace the aroma, and forget where you are for a few seconds. You follow that by pouring those beautiful, dark beans into your grinder. Savoring every little tink as the beans pour out. After grinding, you fill the basket, fill to the preferred water line, and press the brew button. As you wait for this cup of Heaven, the room begins to fill with a new smell which takes you to a far away place. The coffee pot whispers with a ding or two to let you know it’s job is done. You pour a cup and the aroma increases. You raise the steamy mug to your now smiling face and take a sip. The Vigor & Grace washes over the tongue and your mind opens. You detect notes of cinnamon and stone fruit, and… wait a tick… is that chocolate? Yes. Yes it is. You are happy. You’re fulfilled. Seemingly religious themed coffee house. The coffee was fine, the service was fine even though the staff didn't want to make eye contact with us or have any more interactions than necessary. The seating is strange and uninviting.

There is also what I would consider offensive art hanging on the walls about peoples religions and race that feels like it doesn't need to be there

Edit: updating because of business reply. There is antisemitic art on the walls, it's offensive because you are oppressing other people's beliefs below your own. I do believe that in the Christian faith you are supposed to accept people how they are, the snarky reply and the service mixed with the seemingly racist viewpoints on the wall would lead me to believe you don't uphold the values you are preaching.

Gather is a coffee shop spread across locations in Harriman, Oneida, and Huntsville in Tennessee. The owners took great effort in making their buildings look nice and feel comfortable, and even have good music on the radio. Sometimes they host events with local artisans or even musical concerts. The Huntsville location is exempt from the above because it’s drive-through only.

Gather has very kind staff that keep busy. They have tea, coffee, smoothies, hot chocolate and pastries, all of which have vegan options if chosen except the hot chocolate. Their coffee can be frozen or hot, there’s several different coffee beverages you can get from both options. All drinks could have any of several different flavorings added to them.
