Farmer Boys — Restaurant in Ontario

Dude, they were super kool. Not only were they close to the track. The food smelled so yummy the closer you got and more so after you entered. Everythinglooked great and tastes better. Decent portions, cant say I noticed the prices, but I am confident it is worth what ever the total comes to. But for me, it was the kind service that blew me away. I went to Farmer Boys the day of the races Sunday race day for NASCAR at Fontana Speedway while at the track my battery to my phone died and I was running late returning back to our town now I went to the races because it was my birthday but it was also a day that I worked and my job is a life coach for supported living. so returning back late without contacting anyone would have been a problem. when I went into Farmer Boys, the employees on staff that Sunday evening on March 18th around 5 p.m., were excellent, they went above and beyond the required service. they allowed me to make a personal call from their phone and when my boss didn't answer they allow me to dial a second boss,that I thankfully reached.I was very appreciative. they were extremely kind and attentive. I just kept thinking how busy there NASCAR race day Sunday must have been, how many customers must have travel through those doors all day long. I'm sure they were exhausted and again this was Sunday and the race week started Thursday. so they had all weekend long not just the main event day. So at the end of a 4 day Race Day weekend by evening they were still that kind and courteous, is a rare find theses days, that's good old fashion USA kind of mentality properly, represented thanks Farmer Boys you made the end of the evening just as good as the beginning it was a groovy race day Sunday birthday to boot for me can't wait to visit...

My friend had never been here, so instead of going to where he wanted, I talked him into coming here. It was very slow (1 other table sitting) it was late (last month).

He ordered a chicken sandwich and fries. I received my food very quickly, but they only brought him his fries. They said the chicken sandwich is coming up shortly. He decided to wait instead of eating just fries. I finished my food in about 15 minutes. After I finished, he still hadn't gotten his food. The fun was only beginning.

They said sorry, it's on it's way. We waited another 20 minutes, and he asked again. They said they forgot, and they're starting it now. 45 minutes after ordering, they said they would start it now.

Another 15 minutes later, a group of 5 people came in and ordered. 10 minutes later, they were all served. I'm a very understanding person, but that's when it started to seem intentional and really irritated me. Keep in mind that my friend is always (and was) polite and respectful.

The other table finished eating, and he still hadn't gotten his chicken sandwich. 2 hours after ordering, he asked for a refund. They happily did that for him. My friend is black, and he was convinced after we left that's the reason he wasn't served. I really don't want to believe that, and I tried my best to rationalize with him. Sometimes restaurants are just dysfunctional. But I really can't understand why they just refused to make him a sandwich. Like once you realize you've forgotten someone over an hour, shouldn't that be the 1st priority? I've never in my life seen anything like this....

I had an incredibly frustrating and disappointing experience at this location. After making my purchase, I asked for access to the restroom. The associate, “50 Simar” (as indicated on my receipt), demanded to see my receipt, which I had left in my car. I went back to retrieve it and returned, only to face continued rude and unhelpful behavior. Even after showing my receipt and further proving my purchase by showing the charge on my card, I was still denied access to the restroom.

The fact that I went out of my way to provide multiple forms of proof of purchase, only to be dismissed and denied a basic courtesy, was unacceptable. As a paying customer, I should not have been treated with such disrespect. It was extremely unprofessional and reflects poorly on the business as a whole.

I love Farmer Boys and I won’t be returning to this location, and I highly recommend others think twice before supporting an establishment that treats its customers...
