My father and I have an ongoing joke about this particular Mcdonalds. Living 2 minutes from it being men that haven't the slightest clue how to cook, we use to visit quite often. Being very convenient, we wouldnt typically care how the food taste, we were just hungry. But for weeks to months on end it was next to impossible to head into this location and not have to go back in to get your correct order. Being understanding people we wouldnt care in the least bit if it was occasional. But when it started happening every. Single. Time. We finally had enough and boycotted it. This went on for years, every now and then heading in and grabbing something to eat. But just as nothing had ever changed, the orders were usually wrong or put together so terribly you would have thought it was a staff of 6 year olds. Never actually complaining though, because even though the food was terrible... I like having my spit condiments on the side. Id say roughly 3 or 4 months of not eating at this location my hunger finally gave in. I went back. And for the last time in my life. Read moreWhen I pulled in the drive-through I suppose I expected the same quality of service as I have received other McDonald’s restaurants. This location I have noted has recently added a second ordering lane In the drive-through. I pulled up to the open lane I knew I was going to wait for a few seconds to order. Meanwhile it was decided by staff that they should take three other peoples water in the other lane before mine. I ordered and drove up to the corner window to pay. I handed her my debit card and she handed it back without a receipt. As I was pulling up to the next window I noticed the person serving the food was holding the bag out the window (it’s 28° out this morning). She has me my food and then my coffee and I pull away. I was never offered a receipt and never received one. I also do not receive the cream and sugar in my coffee as I had asked. The manager was very upset at me because I wanted all this to be made right. After speaking with the manager at the window for just a few seconds I realized I was wasting my time and left with nothing. Read moreDrove thru for breakfast last week. Iced tea was "rancid". Next morning iced tea was again soured/spoiled. Supervisor said it was "freshly made". This site has had previous issues with food service maintenance/cleanliness. Usually, the matter was corrected by the next morning's drive thru. Iced tea has remained spoiled all week. Hamburg site's iced tea is fine and always is. This is the only McDonalds in my area of travel where there has ever been a question. I see by the other customer review entries, this Leesport site has ongoing food safety issues. Emails to the local McDonalds have yielded no corrective actions. I have just finished submitting a formal food safety complaint on the PA Dept of Ag web site.
