Jim's Seafood — Restaurant in Opelousas

I recently ate there for the first time. A friend told us they were the only place that had Chinese food, we like Thai food. So we ordered their chicken egg rolls - $3.00 for 2 egg rolls and a chicken fried rice.

The egg rolls were big and nice but the flavor 👎🏿👎🏿👎🏿 They had NO Seasoning, it was like she just cooked it.

The chicken fried rice was literally big cut up pieces of chicken breast and the rice wasn't seasoned either. I'm definitely not a picky eater but that...

Only reason I give 2 stars is becuz of the seafood literally. I would give the 5 star but this place has completely changed with all the new workers the owner have been hiring recently and they have been messing my favorite dish up there by serving mushy shrimp fried rice like yesterday and the owner is rarely there now so I'm pretty sure she doesn't know that the new workers are sometimes cooking hard seafood and serving mushy shrimp...

It's really like a hit or miss. Some days the food is really good and other days the rice is mushy with no favor. The crawfish fried rice is over priced and I wish I had taken a picture of my plate because I had a WHOLE 4 peice of crawfish in my fried rice. I rather take the drive to Lafayette to get my some good Hot Food Express fried rice. Jim's is starting to get too...
