Corner Cafe — Restaurant in Orange

We had the most wonderful experience at the corner cafe! We were visiting a friend in Massachusetts all the way from NJ and found this place nearby and we were so happy to have discovered it! The food is DELICIOUS and the owner Terry was the sweetest woman alive. She really makes you feel like family and is just genuinely kind. We got the sausage and biscuits and were not disappointed. The rest of the menu looked really good too and we said that next time we are up there visiting, we are going to stop by every day! The baked goods also looked unreal and we were fortunate that a lovely couple bought us the peanut butter fudge because they insisted we try it. We are so thankful they did because it is so heavenly! It’s almost like whipped peanut butter. So yummy. The rest of the baked goods looked good too. It was hard to resist buying some. Overall, the place was warm and inviting. Shocked to see all the 5 star reviews, but good service can always turn a meal around! I ordered my food for takeout, which started with issues through the website. Ordered a sandwich a breakfast bowl and an apple turnover for the day! Got a call not long in that my sandwich wont be made, because its strictly a lunch item-- okay. No problem, i can see that, but definitely fix that website.

So i get the food home, and am shocked. Theres no flavor in anything, the eggs were a rubbery mess, it seemed as though i had essentially received store-bought pre-frozen foods slapped on a hotplate/flat top. Corner Cafe is a great place for a relaxing breakfast and coffee. I have fallen in love with the breakfast burrito! It has a tangy sauce inside and crispy melted cheese on the outside. Incredibly tasty!! The staff is very personable and friendly in a hometown feel sort of way. The atmosphere is warm and cozy while having plenty of space for the volume of customers.
