Biddie Banquet — Restaurant in Orangeburg

My mother and I had our dinner there tonight. We were ready for some good home cooking. We arrived there at 6:30, and was looking at the menu. I wanted something on there with 2sides and peach cobbler for dessert. Waitress came and was ready to take our order and said, “we are out of bbq ribs”, which was what my mom and I both wanted, and “we are out of peach cobbler”. Do I asked if we could get a small sundae in place of the peach cobbler. No of course. So we ordered fried chicken for our meat. Then waitress comes and says, it will be a 15 minute wait on the chicken, do yall want to wait?” We said yes and I asked again about the small sundaes because 1. Having to wait 15 min on our food to cook and 2.because of not getting to order what we really wanted. So we got a small piece of pie and I do mean small. They don’t close until 7:30pm and 5 minutes after we ordered they started closing process. This place only takes cash. Service was horrible, the initial lady who took our drink order served everyone in our area (who came in after us and left before us) she only took interest in our table when she was ready to bus us, like we waited long enough for our food and only had a few minutes before she tried to take it. I was really bothered that she blamed the bad service on our waitress who straight up told us that it was her first day. When the bill came, someone added a 3 dollar up charge to one of the orders(different color pen and never explained). Owner argued with the person I came with when she told him that the billing wasn’t correct and we were not informed of an up charge of $3 for a breast and chicken leg. Food was not that...

I haven't been there in a while but the food quality has gone way down. I made the mistake of going there today. I ate inside and only was limited to the $10.50 cash only meal which included a meat 2 vegetables and dessert. The rolls were hard and kinda burnt. The Mac and cheese I had to send back because it had black specks in it and it didn't taste right. I switched it for mashed potatoes which was nasty and had no taste. I added salt to that and the rice and gravy but it didn't help. The pear cobbler was cold. I basically paid and wasted $10.50 for 2 pieces of chicken which is all that was edible of my meal. I wasted my money on my meal but I won't make that mistake again. If you want quality food...
