Worth the drive for perfectly seasoned, battered and fried bone-in fish. We also tried the fried chicken and some sides but it's Ms. Huffman's 5-star catfish she fixed yesterday that I'm still dreaming about.
A couple of tips based on this, our first, visit: they are only open three days a week, accept cash and check only, the small dining room is spotless and food is made to order â a task that can take 25 minutes per table on a busy Saturday â and that fish made it worth the wait.
