If you’re one of the two employees that know my order and name, this excludes you and I love you:)
Anyways. I work in food service, I get things happen; but there is absolutely no excuse for the food I received to be even allowed to reach a customer. I waited 25 minutes after placing my order at the drive through, something I normally ignore but will mention today. When I got my order, which was pretzel bites and custard respectively, I noticed my custard had sat on the counter inside until it had reached the state of soup. Something that has happened before, but again, I declined to say anything. After finishing my along awaited ‘custard’ I turned to my pretzel bites, hoping to lift my newly disappointed mood. Only to discover that I had barley any cheese sauce left, which would be due to it being pooled at the bottom of the box. Oh! Almost forgot, the pretzels were also cold. So here are my questions, how long is the fry time for the pretzels? Because I can promise you it isn’t long enough for my custard to be turned to liquid. And you can’t tell me it was due to other items being made, because nobody else in the drive-in waiting party moved. This is not a ‘new store’ bump, this is ignorance. If you’re going to have a wait time, food quality should be phenomenal. Accidents happen, but this was negligence. Give me a job, management. I have 3 years of customer service experience, all in food, and I can speak spanish. Match my current hourly of $27 an hour and I’ll work full...

Granted it was raining, but we hit the drive thru and waited for our food. We got a specific food item (three small ice creams of the day) and watched as the service workers constantly went from car to car trying to deliver our food to other people.
We told the workers multiple times, “hey, that’s our food” but we’re continually shut down by the employees saying “it’s not your order, yours isn’t ready yet.” The final straw was the third time I see the employees walking around outside, in the rain with our food, and the bag is clearly wet and slowly ripping. Suddenly (but not unexpectedly), the bag rips and the food tumbles to the ground.
No one wants to see your food fall to the ground like that. It’s embarrassing.
I went in and heard the staff discussing their orders, apparently they had an issue with the order and gave us the wrong number. I’d give them the benefit of the doubt about that, but no one apologized, I asked for a refund and at least I got that. The staff was frustrated, I was frustrated. Really bad experience there and hope they can get a manager there who doesn’t look like a deer in the headlights when dealing with this kind of situation.
At least I got a Dr. Pepper out of it, but now I’m across the street at Kwik Trip...
Read moreThis Culver's has quickly ascended to the top venues for me. By offering fresh food to satisfy all your bodily needs, and absolutely delightful atmosphere, it's an ideal locale to just relax and hang out for awhile on a sultry long summer's afternoon. It has therefore become a major star on my growing list of MUST stops when passing through on my volunteer activities in the area,(Dane Cty Parks seed collection activities). I had the same fulfilling fare last time I was here on Fri, July 7th, 2023; medium french fries and scoop of chocolate custard. The french fries are wholesome and always served warm, not too hot, and NOT greasy. Just the perfect balance between golden brown outside, and puff, flaky potato essence on interior. The self serve ketchup cuts the bit of vegetable oil on the outside of fries- little to no oil soaks through to inside of fries, keeping them puffy and flaky, like a properly prepared potato side dish should be. And the chocolate custard works with the fries to keep it cool in your belly, when the weather outside is sultry and moist. The ideal reward after 5 hrs fieldwork in the beautiful cloud crested, sun drenched WI...
