Awesome rock shop plus ice cream shop (and also a shop for other fantastic goodies for hiking, rock climbing and miscellaneous souvenirs). This store sells Oregon thunder eggs (we got one!). They are similar to geodes but formed in rhyolitic volcanic ash layers. The interior of a thunder egg is fascinating since there's no one alike. The owner is so kind, attentive and well versed in the history of this shop that you may enjoy chatting a while! Did I mention the ice cream? It's really good (raspberry/coconut milk is my favorite). A must stop if going to Smith Rock Park. Parking is limited but it is...

We stopped by this store today to get some ice cream and some souvenirs after visiting Smith Rock State Park.

Their "Huckleberry" ice cream was so good and they have lots of souvenirs to choose from. The owners were also very kind...

We highly recommend this store to anyone visiting Smith Rock State Park!

Came in here and I’m not sure if the staff was having a bad day or if they are usually rude. We just walked out rather than get ice cream or continue to shop the souvenirs!
