I’m writing to express my frustration regarding a repeated issue I’ve experienced at your [location name] store, specifically involving Barista Marsha.
On a previous visit around 5:30 PM, I attempted to order a Frappuccino but was told by Marsha that the “Frappuccino station” was closed because it was too time-consuming. As a result, I didn’t make a purchase. I let it go at the time.
However, today I placed a mobile order for two Frappuccinos around the same time. When I arrived, Marsha was visibly upset and told me there was a "problem" and she would not be making the drinks. Her reason was that she still had dishes to do, despite the store not closing for another hour and a half. She then attempted to replace my drinks with refreshers—without asking if that was acceptable. I declined, as the refreshers are not comparable in value or what I ordered.
It was clear she simply did not want to make the drinks due to the time of day, which is unacceptable when mobile ordering is still active and customers are placing valid, paid orders.
If certain drinks are unavailable after a specific time, the app should reflect that. Otherwise, it feels like the store is taking money for items it does not intend to fulfill.
I hope this matter can be addressed, as this experience has left me extremely...
Read moreGot to the counter, ordered my drink. The barista asked me if I have had it before, in a disgusted tone. So much I actually asked if it was a bad choice, she said “everyone has different taste buds” ok whatever Ordered two drinks, two bakery items. Asked how to redeem my stars since I never have, and I have enough for a free bakery item. She snapped at me and said that I need to tell her if you want to redeem anything. She said that a couple times. I apologized, she scanned it and got even more rude and looked at me and said “you don’t even have enough stars” and I am confused because the app says I have enough for a free bakery item, she replied “not here, only corporate stores” ok that’s fine. But there wasn’t a line, it wasn’t slammed, I wasn’t asking a million questions, yet it seemed like I was just really inconvenient for her. I’m actually sitting here still on the location watching her interact with people, many eye rolls, much snapping. She is not wearing a name tag, and the receipt doesn’t list a name. The barista makes or breaks the visit. This...
Read moreWorst Starbucks I’ve been to in the 5 or 6 states I visit. Today is the last attempt I will give to this place in the last two years I’ve lived near this Fred Meyer. Prior to today they have never been consistent on when they close and they’re usually out of something. Today, no cold brew, no large cups, and the ladies were ambivalent about my order. Not trying to mention if they have iced coffee or a sympathetic mentality. Kind of shrugged and that was it after telling me they didn’t have either part of my order. I’ve been in hospitality for 25 years and if you don’t have something you try and offer something comparable or AT LEAST apologize BEFORE you mention what you are out of. Bye girls bye. And wear a mask if the rest of the Fred Meter...
