I was so excited to get some tacos from this establishment. When I walk in it took forever to even get acknowledged. Employees were just looking at me and continued to walk past without so much as a โbe there in a minuteโ or anything which would at least make me feel like I wasnโt completely invisible. Finally, when I was met by the hostess , I asked if I could sit outside she said yes, walked me outside, only to realize they didnโt actually have an you all didnโt even have outside tables.(which wasnโt a big deal but certainly odd that she wouldnโt know that whether a new employee or not but based on the way the rest of the visit in your establishment, certainly added to the frustration) once seated inside, I was immediately asked what I wanted to order when I wasnโt even handed a menu yet. When I told her I wasnโt sure, and if I could just start with a water and needed a little more time to review the menu, the server turned around saying nothing more. I was brought my water and then after she left without saying anything again she nor did anyone come back to take my order. All the while watching other tables getting service and attention. I felt invisible and honestly just in disbelief. I also think it important to add that this was a time when your establishment was in no way busy. After waiting for longer than I should have trying to be understanding of what they may be dealing with, but in that time I had full view of what they were doing and it seemed I was just not a priority customer for her or anyone else that worked there that might have stopped by to ask if I had been helped at all yet. So, after waiting longer than I should to try and give this restaurant a chance, I had to just get up and leave.
I can honestly say I have never had such a neglectful experience at a restaurant. A Waffle House has better service than this establishment. I would not reconnect this restaurant to anyone as it would seem they pick and choose the tables they are going to be attentive to. (Generally the larger parties of 3 and up it would seem) If your feeling lucky, go for it.
ON THE UP SIDE: I left and ended up wondering to an incredible restaurant called SPORK and was not only treated like a person and felt so seen. The service was beyond friendly and the food...

The hostess explained that even though there were empty tables, they werenโt seating them all, which is ok. We eventually were seated at 7:20 at a nice window seat. Within 5 minutes, we ordered our drinks and entrees. At about 8:00, we still werenโt served, and our waitress asked if weโd like Chips and Salsa on the house since things were running behind in the kitchen. We received them, and then noticed several other tables had either already received the same complimentary chips/salsa, or were getting them around the same time as ours. We noticed almost no other tables were receiving any ordered food, and then slowly, a few tables started to get up, approach their waitress, and then just leave. Our waitress came and said our food would soon be up, so we just accepted it, and waited. Then around 8:30, one of the members of our party went to the waitress, and we were then told that our food wasnโt even started to be cooked. We were told we could just leave, and the everything was on the house. We ended up paying for our drinks, and left. Our gripe is that the kitchen and front of the house must have known things werenโt going well that evening in the kitchen (maybe short-handed, maybe newly trained staff), and so it would have been nice for them to just explain that when we initially checked in that even after seating us, food would take WAY longer than normal to arrive, and offer us the chance to just go elsewhere. But they remained silent, and so not only did our table exit the restaurant without getting our food, but Iโd estimate at least 5 other tables just got up and left around the same time. Keep in mind, this is not the only time service has been slow at The Row. But never like this. We wonโt...
ย ย ย Read moreDid I get the B class chef? The C class chef? I went here reading rave reviews of the best wings in Bend. Maybe I should start my own business because I have made better wings from purchasing a frozen bag of party wings from Costco, baking them, and then frying them in butter before coating them in Baby Rays. I had the 'sesame ginger' and yes, I thought this was a safe option, but they didn't taste like sesame, nor ginger, and were spicy despite the fact that I tried to avoid a spicy sauce.
The brussel sprouts were lemon coated slime. They reminded me of how my mom used to cook brussel sprouts. Let's cook all of the life and flavor out of them. Except instead of that, let's coat them in lemon goo. All you have to do is heat up a cast iron pan, slap some butter and garlic and let those babies caramelize. My daughters fight me for brussel sprouts but now they were fighting me for who had to finish them.
The flatbread. Meh. Not going to complain but there were parts that were so tough I just tossed them aside.
The only good part about the dinner was the truffle fries. They were good.
The view from this place was amazing, and maybe 90% of the reviewers got drunk on the great beer this place was...
