So very disappointed in Thai Fix. We have been loyal customers for a long time. We're weeks away from moving across country to Arizona and our family has been visiting our most loved restaurants for the final time. First stop Thai Fix. Tonight we had a huge order as per usual and for the first time ever they completely missed a dish. No worries we thought, we will just call them back and they'll GLADLY make it right. Not only did my husband have to drive back up there 24 miles round trip (48 miles in total) during a snow storm, but the legitimacy of our complaint was questioned and I had to speak with TWO people just for them to rectify the situation. They kept saying they'll replace the dish for free.... replace it? It was never here to replace. VERY disappointed that this was our last experience, after YEARS of being loyal customers!
EDIT: I don't know how to respond directly to you so I'll do it here. OF COURSE mistakes happen. We're small business owners and when we make a mistake we make it right! Especially when people spend their hard earned money on us to keep us going. I was NOT asking for two free dishes! The original dish wasn't free, as we had already paid for it! The gentleman said, "What would you like us to do?" I answered his question and said, "I don't know, maybe give him an extra side of fried rice." He said, "No that's too much!" I said, "OK, what will you do then?" He put me on hold, came back and said that you guys would simply replace our missing dish for free! Replacing a dish that I already paid for and never got, isn't you replacing it for free. That's not doing me a service, by giving me what I already paid for! That's when I asked to speak to the manager and she repeated what the first gentleman said. That's not rectifying the situation. That's when the manager offered to give free apps. My IMMEDIATE response was that is fine, thank you! But TWO people said they'd simply replace our meal for free. No you're giving us what we already paid for. My goal is to let people know what they MAY expect when getting carry out. We shared our experience. I didn't lie, I didn't embellish or even stretch the truth. I shared our experience. I'm not responsible for the experiences you give your guests, you are. Mistakes happen and then things are done to rectify them. Very unfortunate how our last meal ended. Thank you for the well wishes and we hope you also have the...

Thai Fix is a culinary treasure for Thai food enthusiasts like us. With a menu boasting an array of delectable dishes, here's a short review of our absolute favorites that keep us coming back for more:
First on our list is the Pad See Ew, a stir-fried noodle dish that never fails to impress. The wide rice noodles are perfectly cooked and sautéed with tender chicken or beef, along with crisp vegetables and a delightful combination of savory and slightly sweet sauce. The flavors blend harmoniously, creating a satisfying and comforting experience with each bite.
When it comes to appetizers, Thai Fix's chicken satay steals the show. The succulent skewered chicken is grilled to perfection, resulting in a smoky, tender texture. But what truly sets it apart is the accompanying peanut sauce. Creamy, rich, and bursting with flavor, it's hands down the best peanut sauce in Michigan. Each dip enhances the satay's taste and leaves us craving more.
The cucumber salad is a refreshing side that adds a burst of tanginess to our meal. The crisp cucumber slices are marinated in a zesty dressing, infused with a perfect balance of sweet and sour flavors. It serves as a palate cleanser while providing a delightful contrast to the other dishes.
Next up is the irresistible crab Rangoon. These crispy dumplings are generously filled with a creamy and savory mixture of cream cheese and crab meat. The golden exterior adds a satisfying crunch, while the decadent filling leaves us wanting to savor each bite. It's a must-have for any Thai Fix visit.
To complete our Thai dining experience, we indulge in their aromatic Thai tea. This classic beverage is a symphony of flavors, blending black tea with spices and sweetened condensed milk. Served over ice, it's a refreshing and creamy companion that perfectly balances out the bold and spicy flavors of the cuisine.
In conclusion, Thai Fix offers an exquisite journey into the flavors of Thai cuisine. With standout dishes like Pad See Ew, chicken satay with exceptional peanut sauce, refreshing cucumber salad, addictive crab Rangoon, and the delightful Thai tea, this restaurant continues to impress us with its authentic flavors and impeccable taste. Read moreI'm going to just be honest. We ate here a week or so ago and we can't stop talking about our experience. We sat down, thoroughly excited for some Thai. Thai tea was great. We ordered curry at medium spice. We order medium all over the country and its fine. I eat hot sauce, habanero sauce frequently, just an idea of how hot I can normally take my food. The menu said the sauce is mild. The curry is absolutely delicious. It's grilled first then turned into a curry. Something I've never seen before. But then, the Heat started hitting me. I was sweating profusely, it started to give me a panic attack. Medium, we ordered. Both of our orders were unreasonably extremely spicy. This was not medium. The waiter brought us some water since he saw me fanning myself and whiping the sweat from my face and brought to-go containers.
When paying, I felt obligated to say something and all I said was it wasn't medium, that it was super spicy, and the chef needs to know they could be killing someone.
For real though, someone who normally orders medium, get this and just die. What a waste of $40+.
And the food was so good!!! I'm so sad for it to be ruined by being incredibly spicy. You can see from the pics there is an absurd amount of Chilli flakes... you can see the chili everywhere.... not medium. Like it is smothered in HOT Chilli flakes. Anyways, they LAUGHED. Yes. They LAUGHED that they are killing someone. They enjoyed that thought. Then, they blamed ME for not knowing how to order! .... Yes, they blamed me for ordering wrong. That's when I had to let people know. They are laughing at them making their food too spicy and told me how to order next time, that its mild, then if you say medium, they apparently make it unbearably spicy? well, there won't be a next time. But if you go, just read my review and know to tell them...
