What is happening at Ventura. In the last 60 days the clubhouse manager, kitchen manager, bar &restaurant manager have all quit. Can't do your job and order supplies without permission of the GM or you get written up. A GM who has no supervisor or manager experience. Who hasn't had to hire sub contractors or write a contract. Got hired cause they had a CAM license and this is the only property they have been a CAM at, and the board was looking for a cheap fix. We all know what happens when you go cheap. They spent big money to re do the ballroom but when was the last time they booked a wedding or other big event. When they do have something they want to gouge the residents. $65.00 for a wine tasting. This isn't Lake Nona or Bayhill. Now they aren't satisfied with the large amount of beverages sold the last time they had a band in the ballroom. They want to charge $10.00 a head for the next band event, which I believe is illegal for a private club owned by the residents. The residents and the wait staff are suffering from the way this place is being mismanaged. It's only going to get worse with the golf course shutting down. The course needs the work, and I applaud the board for fixing it,but in the mean time with the golfers and the snowbirds gone this place is headed downhill unless they get the residents to come in. A really great place. I hope it...
Read moreOmg! They have the best food. My neighbor rents his unit next to me. I praise up the 19th Hole to eat or drink. I don’t understand why the owner doesn’t. In order to get renters to the 19th Hole off season maybe Admin or the 19th Hole should offer owners discounts coupons to leave in their property encouraging renters and o use the 19th hole. I’ve talked with the last 10 renters and they had zero clue we had a gym, restaurant, main pool by the clubhouse, bar, golf…someone needs to inspire independent owners to advertise all that’s available to anyone renting even just for days. We are missing...
Read moreKaraoke night was a blast! Our waiter Andre was nice, however the night manager Brett needs more training. She was limited to accommodate accordingly and was very pleasant. The prime rib was not tenderized properly and came out twice, once overcooked and then slightly undercooked. I ordered it medium well. Both times the meat was tough, hard to cut and chew. The asparagus stems were hard and the salad plate plate should have been larger or put together better. This was my very 1st time at the 19th Hole Restaurant. The atmosphere was...
