UNACCEPTABLE manager attitude. I have never came across such disrespectful behavior from a Manager. I went to Walgreens in Goldenrod to the photo department, while there I was told by the cashier that there was no one to help me because he was the only person working on the floor, I again asked him to help me and he politely said that he will as soon as he finished with the customers in line (by the way I was waiting longer before all of them) customers kept on coming and I kept on waiting until a manager (Roberto) who overheard my interaction with the cashier told me thereâs only one cashier in the store and that I have to do it myself, I told him if he could help me, he replied he was very busy with merchandise, that they can not help me either to which I replied âWowâ (thinking to myself âwhat am I going to do now?â because I really needed to have my printing) nothing else. Apparently he assumed something else and asked me what am I saying âWOWâ , I replied that I was worried about my printing, then he proceeded to question me why I donât understand what heâs saying and kept on repeating theyâre the only ones in the store (all this giving me an attitude) I asked him why the attitude, I am even explaining the misunderstanding (which I shouldnât have to) and he just said that I was playing the victim and walked away from me while I was trying to explain. I was more than 10 min waiting and no one assisted me but he didnât even bother he just walked away talking and arguing. The cashier saw the way he treated me and from his face you could tell that he was very distraught too, the cashier then was so polite to help me out with the printing process, after a few minutes the manager Roberto told Omar (the cashier) to stop helping me that I supposed to that by myself and the cashier didnât say anything (you could tell he was afraid) I told the manager Roberto that he (Omar) was helping me because thereâs no one in the line he said, and I quote âIâm not talking to you, Iâm talking to himâ I was just blown away by the way he was talking and conducting himself as a manager. After 30 minutos with the cashier going back and forth and in between customers he couldnât print my work (he tried) saying that the internet in the store is poor. I spent 55 minutes and didnât get anything but the worst customer service ever. Iâm a very nice and kind person and the whole situation just made me feel so sickening, even a customer heard him talking like that and shake his head in disappointment. You could even ask the cashiers opinion to hear the other side of the story, Iâm sure heâll tell it as it was. I need answers, I cannot understand how a person that works with customers can be so rude and disrespectful. I worked in Walgreens in the 90âs and customers loved me, there are ways to talk to people and this was just unacceptable. This is going to corporate and I hope someone does...
Read moreThis is a complaint I sent corporate. I put in a request for a prescription on Thursday September 28th. I went to pick up the prescriptions on 10/02/2023. Unfortunately, I was only given a partial refill for my indomethacin and told that my prescription for Triamterene didn't even exist, but they would look into this. I decided to give the location the benefit of the doubt as I am new to the Orlando, FL area. However, these are not new medications. These are refills. I called again on 10/06/2023. The first time I called at 10:18 was left on hold for 10 minutes. Someone kept picking up and putting me back on hold. I called back at 10:36am the same day. I was left on hold for 33 minutes and the call was never answered. Again, someone kept picking up and putting me back on hold. I was able to hear the store background noise each time to verify this was going on. I decided to call from my work phone at 11:09 am and this call was answered immediately. For whatever reason, the call with a business' name was given priority while my personal phone was left on hold. I spoke to someone and I explained my frustration. I advised someone kept picking up and putting me back on hold . I explained that I was extremely frustrated. The person from the pharmacy was very short with me saying that they were short staffed and that they despite being left on hold for an unreasonable amount of time I should move past that and just tell her what I needed. I advised I needed better customer service. She kept being short and disregarded my complaint. I did move past that and I explained the medication that I needed. Somehow magically, the medication that had not been filled for over a week was at the pharmacy. I then asked to speak to the manager. I was transferred to the store manager Danny. I gave my complaint. He kept saying that there was nothing he could do other than investigate it but sounded very disinterested in my complaints. I advised I was extraordinarily upset. He stated to give him my name and date of birth. When I provided my date of birth of 09/11/1980 he stated what a terrible birthday. I was already enraged by the horrendous treatment I had been provided. To top it off I was disrespected due to my date of birth unnecessarily. It was very demeaning treatment. I am a person with a lot of medical issues, and I expected so much better from Walgreens and Walgreens corporation. I am extremely upset over my treatment and demand actions be taken. There is no reason for my medication to take over a week to be filled, I should have been left on hold for so long, or the worst be utterly insulted and disrespected due to my date of birth. I am extremely outraged over this treatment, and I need to know what is being done by your corporation to fix...
Read moreI went in for a handful of items from over-the-counter medicationâs to a sweet treat or a salty treat. I probably waited between five and 10 minutes in line as there was only one person, managing checkout and managing is the incorrect word of the day. Her name was desire I believe and it was in the early part of mid month March, as I was visiting my mother-in-law and had a tradeshow at the convention center I grew up down the road from Walgreens headquarters in the northern suburbs of Chicago and I cannot believe what my favorite drugstore has succumbed to in the current environment of drugstores. You guys were the king and I hated those three initials that you competed with for the last several decades , but youâve lost your way. This scale was a joke and should have been fired on the spot quite frankly. Took her about five minutes to even recognize. She had a line forming as she was standing under a section of the counter that said photos and engrossed in a conversation with a couple of restaurant folks or whatever who didnât have a Flippin clue about what they were even talking about. There were boxes blocking her access to the regular registers and she berated me. When I said is there someone else I can check out with with your comment beginning âthis is my register or whatever. What the hell is happened to Walgreens? Itâs no wonder private equity bought you cheaply and I mean real cheap because youâve...
