Repeated Overcharging and Dishonest Practices

I've had multiple negative experiences at this 7-Eleven (10025 S Orange Ave, Orlando), but this morning May 15th, 2025 was the last straw. While checking out, the cashier added an item I didn’t purchase ("Wall Thermos") to my order, claiming it was part of a discount. I asked her to remove it several times, but she insisted it would lower my total, which it didn’t. I finally demanded it be removed, and the actual total turned out cheaper without the “discount.”

This is the third time this location has manipulated my transaction, previously even skipping my rewards redemption for $1 off. As someone who needs accurate, itemized receipts for work, I find this unacceptable. I’ve reported the issue to 7-Eleven corporate and am also contacting Florida authorities. Customers deserve transparency, not register manipulation and inflated totals, this is blatant theft.

I recently visited this location after being away from town for some time, and I must admit that I was disappointed with what I observed. The store, which used to be my daily coffee stop, has noticeably deteriorated since my last visit. The service provided was subpar, and the overall cleanliness and maintenance of the store were lacking.
