It's going downhill. We usually get a very nice breakfast in there lots of food good value for the money. We recently had lunch there it was not good. The food was very small portion for example we paid $8.50 for a fish sandwich the fish was barely half the size of bun. It took over 30 minutes to get the food and it was cold when it arrived. We'd also worthy to cheeseburger it was very small. I honestly could have got more food at Dairy Queen with a $5 or $6 lunch than what they served for $8. The food was rather Bland tasting except for the fact that you could tell the fish and all of the french fries were deep fried in the same oil. So is unique tasting blend burger and fries Network ride with the fish. If I'd have wanted to taste the fish I would have ordered it. Burger was extremely Bland and dry. Then they never did bring the check and we sat there and waited for 35 minutes we finally had to get up and go to the check out ourselves.. I would not recommend lunch or dinner food for here and the quality of their breakfast is going...
Read moreWe had breakfast there first time ever. While the decor lacks any wall hangings, no pictures, no artwork, basically nothing. Now that aside, the food was done to perfection. The pancakes light, fluffy, could be eaten as is no need for butter or syrup but the pure Ohio maple syrup just made them perfect. The bacon, I'll keep saying, perfect because the food was just that. I had the western omlet and guess how that was, yep perfect. I chose wheat toast and the homemade bread was toasted to, well you know! Just the right amount of crunch but still warm and comfortingly soft inside. We will definitely be back. We are new to the area and love exploring. BTW they sell fresh made donuts and cookies. We didn't have any because we try to avoid sweets. The donuts were huge. In the same building is a little store selling various Amish goods. A lot of fun worth checking out!...
Read moreWent their because of ratings! I guess people are just enamored by the Amish stigma of a restaurant! The place has one server who can only do one thing at a time, the food is fair but is lukewarm when served. I asked the server what a three dollar charge was and she had no idea of what it was. I have been there many times before but it seems to be going downhill. My sasauge patties were dripping in grease as were the homefries. I placed the patties on napkins to soak up the grease and after six soaked napkins their was a teaspoon of grease on the plate. I'm not that picky but I do know most people don't know what a four & five restaurant is or this wouldn't rate...
