My first time here and loved the feel and look of the place. It’s warm, beautiful and cozy. I loved the way it was decorated for the holidays and I had a yummy tuna salad sandwich and delicious salad. Update on 6/28/25: changed from five to three stars. Staff seemed a little overwhelmed? especially only 1 wait person. I don’t know the reason but today we definitely got an Attitude and rudeness in the beginning. Later, was good so I don’t know if there was some kind of miscommunication or what that was about. They keep changing their hours and NOT updating their google page or FB cover photo. It goes back and forth between closing at 2pm to 1pm. Very frustrating for those traveling and making plans in advance to meet for lunch. They have a sign on the door which does nothing to let people know prior to arrival. If you go to their FB page, the first thing you see is their Fall hours posted as the cover photo which reads 9-2pm so they don’t make it easy for customers to find accurate hours. The menu is hard to read because there’s so much graphic on it, it’s overwhelming, scattered and disorganized. The letter/font size is close to the sizes of the graphics so It’s like playing a game of where’s Waldo. It’s not easy on the eyes, trying to find all their menu options. It would be really nice to have an organized, easy to read and clear menu. I hope they make these changes. I also don’t like the fact they’re not environmentally conscious or friendly. They don’t use silverware. All their utensils are plastic and they use styrofoam plates etc
No mugs. All beverages are in to-go containers even if you’re staying. This part baffles me with such a pretty garden outside. You’d think they respect our health and environment a little more. Otherwise, I love the Food and atmosphere! They have very healthy options for the area. Love the fact they have Gluten Free options, especially their bread for sandwiches and wide selection of home baked gluten free biscotti! **Please consider making these suggested changes to my concerns above.*** I would really love to continue coming back to this place and recommend it to others. Thank You

This place is my favorite. The atmosphere is eclectic, artistic, and full of charm. Everything we have eaten here has been phenomenal. Salmon lox bagel was killer. Maryland crab chowder blew my mind. Lemon lavender biscotti was perfection. On our first visit, the owner/artist came out and gave us a tour and we could immediately tell the cafe was a reflection of her personality and spirit. We come here every time we are in town and will continue to do so. Outdoor space was clutch also. Amazing spot ♄

My very favorite place in the county! Best lox bagel is here...better than any in NYC. And Tuesday's is tacos day and they are amazing. Best macaroons and I love the Hawaiian salted carmel iced coffee! Sweet and creative staff!

My fiancĂ© and I had what felt like a transcending meal experience. It possibly helped that we were hungry and in a good mood. BUT the food was AHMAHZ-ing! The owner Amanda is such a freaking delight!!! Her energy, spirit and drive is so refreshing and much needed! She gave us water infused water with lemon and hibiscus! My fiancĂ© doesn’t even like drinking water! Lmao I could drink this water for the rest of my life.

The fries you can tell were freshly sliced and made to perfection! I usually don’t even like not crunchy fries, but the way these were made was incredible with just a dash of salt. The mozz sticks were even great where most places add way too much salt on even just the breading! We literally didn’t eat either one in any sauces!

Now, the entree
đŸ„đŸ„đŸ„đŸ„ PHO! Yes I know, in the middle of Orwigsburg? Lemme tell you what! There is such a love of food, cooking & people in this place, that honestly a lot of places have been lacking for some time AND it shows! The fresh herbs, broth and ingredients are better than ANY place I’ve been & I have eaten at places all around the globe, so I know. If you eat here and don’t have an experience like this, I’m sorry, but I am savoring this and feeling inspired on so many levels. Thank you to Amanda and her amazing...

The soup was amazing, but the service was lacking. We had the mushroom soup which was good enough to make up for the rest of the visit. Our party of four ordered two salads and two soup sandwich combos. The sandwiched were ok, but my 12yo foodie generally makes better tasting and more interesting creations at home. Main point is that the sandwiches arrived about 10 minutes apart, and one of the salads never came. (We tried to cancel the salad after quite a time but they ended up giving it to us in a box to go while we were paying) They did substantially discount the salad. I did like the decor which was kept surprisingly free of dust, so much so that we began trying to find any trace on any of the nearby objects. We did find some, but nothing to speak of. They must hire a professional duster. In summary, I would return for the soup, but only if I had...
