China King — Restaurant in Orwigsburg

I called my order in and it took 25 minutes to make it. I ordered chicken wings combo with chicken fried rice and egg roll for my lunch it cost 9.90 . The food was weird it didn't look fresh. There was a off taste to everything. The rice tasted old like its been cooked/preheated a couple of times. The chicken wings wasnt fresh, it wasn't crispy it had a more soggy appearance like next day preheated in the microwave look. They gave me 3 small drums and 1 wingette and the eggroll was your typical looking eggroll but something about the filling tasted off. I feel like they are not busy enough to have everything kept fresh like the food doesnt sell as fast to keep making fresh batches or something IDK. When I arrived there was a man at the counter who greeted me also knew my order before I was able to tell him so he was probably the one who took my order over the phone. My checkout was quick. I also enjoyed the fact that they had their sauces out and utensils on the table for self-service . The placed looked filled with stuff and I wouldn't enjoy eating inside no outdoor seating.

Now the only reason why I feel the need to make a review is because its 12:12 am and my stomach is upset and the only thing I ate was this. its the only one in the area and i was just in the mood to eat something else other than what i made for lunch myself. I would stay clear of this place to be honest I should've listened to my coworker who told me she got sick after eating here and hasn't gone since but I like going to places and seeing myself. This is all I can remember I really wish I took photos of the food before throwing...

My husband and I are new to Pottsville, Pa and having moved here from Newark,Nj's Ironbound district, our biggest dilemma has been finding the best takeout. We've struggled with the usual Fast food, Italian, Mexican and forget about finding Caribbean food! But... our Chinese food needs are totally satisfied by China King! We've tried 3 to 6 different menu options and have nothing but great things to say! Delish, delish, delish! My fave, Singapore Chow Mei fun is fantastic. Their pork fried rice tastes like real pork. Their shrimp rolls and crab Rangoon are not greasy. Serving size is adequate and their pricing is fair considering you can feed 2 on what you would spend for one chicken chelupa and a soda at T.B.!

Now if they could just recomend great Portuguese and Puerto Rican ...

I had lunch here for the first time today. I arrived just after 11am after having my Volkswagen serviced nearby. I found China King on Google Maps and I'm glad I did. I had the shrimp chow mein lunch special with two pork egg rolls on the side. Very satisfying and good value for the money. I would definitely come back the next time my car needs servicing. I live out of the county over 25 miles away.

UPDATE: Downgraded on June 20 2018. Stopped in today for lunch. There is now a ten dollar minimum for a credit card purchase. The dining area was hot as an oven so I put two and two together and walked out. They...
